Though I agree that Carolyn Pollack is a great designer of Western jewelry, this particular piece looked like a piece of blue plastic to me.
I liked the photo better. In fact the entire piece looked far better on my HD flat screen than on my hand.
I especially didn't care for the oxidation in the silver.
Maybe it is me, but the ring just didn't suit my taste and I do have a collection of silver pieces from Carolyn.
Back it went and I'm not sorry.

Beautiful Shade of Blue
This ring is different from other Carolyn Pollock rings I have ordered. At first I thought the stone was dull, but after weaing it with the bracelet to match, it's a great duo. There's no doubt as to it's color - no wishy-washy, "maybe" blue but a true lapis color. Love Carolyn Pollock products!

Great Design
Beautiful ring and great quality lapis. This ring is unlike anything else I own in lapis. It looks great with my Angela for John Hardy lapis cuff. I'm happy to see more lapis being offered by QVC - it's one of my favorite stones and I think this will become one of my favorite rings!

Beautiful & Exactly as Shown on TV
Both the lapis stone and the silverwork on this ring are gorgeous. The lapis carving has a slight sheen and the carving goes perfectly with the scalloped and sculptural silver. In the house, the lapis looks a little darker than shown on TV, but still looks like cobalt blue. If I take it outside into the sunlight, holy moly! Looks exactly like the intense medium blue cobalt as shown on TV and on the video, under the Q's bright lights.
Carolyn was right on - like looking at tiles on a sunny southwest patio. Living in San Diego, I live outdoors so I am lucky to have lots of opportunities to actually sit on a patio and enjoy the intense color of this ring. I have ordered and returned a couple other lapis rings, because the color was too dark or too dull. The color of this lapis is perfect.
I actually ordered two rings, one size 10 for my first finger to wear on my left hand with my wedding band, which is yellow and white ArtCarved gold, and this carved lapis ring is the perfect size and complement for me. I also ordered a size 7 for my right hand ring finger, in case the size 10 did not look large enough for my wedding band hand. But the ring is perfect size for either hand and any finger.
I'm going to keep the size 7 and give it to my 29 yr old daughter on Mother's day; the size 7 fits like a true size 7, and not like most of Carolyn Pollack's rings which are usually 1/4 to 1/2 size larger than the actual size. So you may consider sizing up if you are expecting a larger than ordered size.
This ring has great quality stone and silver, and in my opinion, it is worth $100+. You should take advantage of the Featured price. If a Featured price or Easy Pay is put on the matching enhancer, I will order it, as I have over extended on the last American West show. This lapis ring is my favorite of all the AW items that I ordered.

WELL. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A LAPIS RING, BUT NOT A SOUTHWEST
