A Note About the Inspiration

Formal dinners and evening occasions required every person to have the costume and accessories to match. This piece is based on a sterling silver mesh evening bag that was recovered in 1987. It was found inside a leather bag, which contained several gold sovereigns from the United Kingdom. The bag is accented with a pierced, floral-designed rim, simple clasps, and a chain-link handle.

The beauty is in the details I chose this ring because I wanted one I could wear all the time- one that has a low profile but fine details. This ring has a very intricate pattern. You can easily see all the scroll work and pattern. The diamond presence is minimal, giving just a little sparkle. You are paying for the workmanship, not the gems...but still a keeper. I've already received compliments on it! 05-02-12
