Steel by Design 1/10 ct tw Diamond Bracelet Watch
Sent A Used Product!
Love the watch however I received one that had been used with scratches and wear,,,. Why is QVC doing this?????? So disappointed!
The style, the look, the size is just perfect on this watch. However, I'm a little concerned about the durability. After wearing the watch only twice to work, and I have a desk job, I noticed scratches and wear and tear marks on the finish. Since, I take good care of my jewelry and wear it gently, I believe the finish on this watch is not the best quality. As far as appearance, I love it.
Nice looking but overpriced for the quality
I bought the yellow gold version of this watch and really like the size and style, and the gold is nicely polished and doesn't scream "fake." I also like the look on my wrist, which is a really important factor when deciding whether to keep it. But I have to say that I'm disappointed both in the look of the diamond chips (the watch would be prettier without them, imo) and the price relative to the workmanship on the bracelet. I see that the description says the clasp has been improved. I don't know what it was like before, but now it seems to be of much lesser quality than I'd expect at this price point. It's thin, tough to fasten AND open, and feels like I can expect it to fail with regular use. Also, my bracelet links have quite a few sharp edges. Guessing that the higher price relative to other SBD watches is for the diamonds, and if I'd tried this on in person, I would have passed at this price point for sure. A mixed bag of good and not-so-good!
Regarding "roman numeral 4" on this watch..
Many clocks use IIII because that was the tradition established by the earliest surviving clock, the Wells Cathedral clock built between 1386 and 1392. It used IIII because that was the typical method used to denote 4 in contemporary manuscripts (as iiij or iiii). That clock had an asymmetrical 24-hour dial and used Arabic numerals for a minute dial and a moon dial, so theories depending on a symmetrical 12-hour clock face do not apply.
This watch is beautiful but the Roman Numeral for the number 4 is incorrect!
This watch is beautiful. I bought it in the gold tone and I love it so much I'm going back for the silver tone. I do wish the rose gold was still available, as I am trying to start that color collection. I'll keep my eyes out for it's return. The watch itself is fabulous. Looks like an expensive designer watch. Well worth it.
I have 2 silver Eclissi watches which are absolutely gorgeous but I really needed an every day watch and this is BEAUTIFUL! It has a nice weight to it and I don't have to worry about scratching it. A lovely watch well worth the price.
very nice watch
Have wore a few weeks now. Love look with one of the steel bracelets too. Don't buy for the diamond dust. To tiny to even see. But didn't buy for those just loved the shape. Pretty blue hands too. Good watch for price.
Love the rose color!
I own several SBD watches and that is because they are quality timepieces. This watch is as described and is a bolder watch and heavier. I was looking for a rosegold color to match my 10k and 14k rosegold pieces and am not disappointed. This watch can be dressed up or worn everyday. The watch has a beautiful look and I am very happy with it. I have had no issues with the clasp, and LOVE the fact that I can adjust the band length. That is a deal breaker for me. The majority of my watches are SBD now. I highly recommend this watch!!
Have been wearing this watch for a few weeks and love it. It is very comfortable, and very fashionable. I love the blue hands and the touch of diamonds brings it up a notch.
This is a perfect everyday watch.
Gorgeous for the price!
I love this watch! It is elegant and sophisticated and not pricey. I also love the sizing options; although the clasp is not perfected yet. (As claimed) There is one little detail that is disturbing: why is the Roman Numeral IV incorrect on the watch? Were the clasp and the numbers correct and you would have gotten 5 stars
Unfortunately, heavy and LARGE watch
Just received this watch, and unfortunately, am returning. It's HEAVY and a very wide watch. I normally prefer a larger watch, but this one really looks like a man's watch. I have been wearing - and LOVING - the steel by design panther link watch for 2 1/2 years and it's still beautiful and I wear it every day. This time around I was looking for a dress watch, so the diamond accents motivated me to purchase this. The diamonds are teeny tiny, though.
