A Note About the Inspiration

This piece is based on a small, 18K gold, mesh coin purse found in a taffeta bag with several pieces of jewelry. The charming evening bag is adorned with Egyptian motifs, which reflect the Western world's fascination with ancient Egypt. Judging from the artifacts recovered with the purse, the owner may have been French.

It's a Winner! I purchased this bracelet as Lunchtime Special and wasn't sure I'd keep it BUT I love wearing it. I think the hinge is so cool as a design and it's really sturdy, durable and gorgeous. I would suggest to anyone reading reviews for this one that it's a good piece for your collection and you'll wear it more than you thought! 09-09-12

Just what I wanted..... Beautiful 14K clad bracelet/cuff. I gave it four stars instead of five because it is for a small wrist. I wear a 7" bracelet and it fits me well.....but no extra room! If your wrist is 6 1/2" to 7" you can wear it well. 05-16-12

Beautiful Bracelet I just received my Titanic bracelet. I keep looking at it and remembering the story that goes along with it. That makes it mean so much more to me. It is a beautifully made bracelet. The leaf design is so different and unique. The only wish I could possibly have is that it came in a larger size too. This fits my 7+ wrist but snugly. The hinge pinches my skin when I close it. I guess I will just have to leave it on all the time. Joking aside, two sizes would have been smarter. My matching ring is on the July delivery and I can't wait. I was lucky to have visited the Titanic exposition in LasVegas a few years ago and purchased some jewelry and service ware then. Titanic Mistake! I was really looking forward to this piece, but the reality was NOTHING like the image on the display. The actual bracelet is lightweight, lackluster and appears stamped. Next to my everyday "go-to" bracelet, it looked like something I bought at a discount store for $25! Not enough to look cheap and tacky, the ends of the bracelet weren't even aligned! I can spend this $200 somewhere else! No thanks! Back it goes! (I just hope the Titanic perfume I'm anticipating in July doesn't disappoint....) 05-09-12
