A Note About the Inspiration

This piece is based on a brass pin that was recovered from a leather suitcase in 1994. The center paste glass stone is missing, but the six additional glass stones encircling it are still intact. It could've been worn on a lapel or collar.

Fine box chain secures with spring ring clasp. Total approx. White Topaz weight is 0.40 carat. Measures approx. 18"L, pendant 1"L including bail x 5/8"W. Collection is inspired by authentic artifacts recovered from the RMS Titanic. Pendant made in India. Chain made in Italy.______________

I Love This Pendant! Yes, this is small, but it is simply stunning and mine shines with a beautiful brilliance! I debated about this for a while and then I thought why not? I am so glad I purchased this piece! It has a really nice presence and is NOT merely for young girls. I like it so much I purchased the matching earrings which are also dynamite! Sweet Star Just received this today and purchased it as a gift for my daughter. This chain and pendant appear to be well made. The stones do not sparkle in the center of the star but according to the description the stones were made of glass. Certain that my young daughter will love it! Now, should I get the matching earrings?? 05-07-12

Disappointing Got this and returned it because it seemed too small and "dull" --as in no sparkle-- especially for the price. I gave it two stars because I still really like the design, just not the scale of it. After thinking about it, It also seemed a little morbid to be wearing something based on a piece found in a shipwreck& who's owner may well have perished. Still not sure how I feel about that. That said, if the necklace had really impressed I definitely would have kept it!!! 05-02-12

Absolutely beautiful! I hesitated on buying this because I couldn't really tell what it would look like in person. I am so glad I bought it! It is so much prettier than on QVC. Very elegant but also something you could wear everyday. I have a lot of jewelry but I plan on making this my everyday necklace not only do I love the star but the way they did the stones it looks like a flower pattern in the middle. I would recommend this for a special friend too! Since this is the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic I felt special putting it on today when it arrived, I felt like I was honoring those who were lost somehow. This necklace is so pretty it could be worn out for the evening with your favorite dress or with your favorite jeans. I will treasure this always. 04-14-12
