A Note About the Inspiration

Every public room and restaurant on Titanic was designed and furnished down to the smallest detail. Windows, in particular, were often designed in several layers to achieve a specific effect. The window that this piece is based on is from the first-class dining saloon, which was decorated in an Edwardian interpretation of the Jacobean style. Its ornamental grill was hung in front of a plate-glass window.

Round white diamonds appear in four stations surrounding the center gemstone, as well as on the bail. From the Titanic Collection.

An Instant Classic I've always had a fascination with the Titanic and love the history behind the ship but I found this necklace because I was looking for something sterling/diamond with an heirloom/vintage feel to wear for my wedding. When I searched that on QVC, this came out. It is outstanding. I've never heard of prasiolite before but I love the very soft kiss of minty green (looks exactly the same in person as in the picture). In certain lights, though, it almost appears clear, like a diamond. The mill grain detail and open grill work give it a very heirloom/vintage feel and it's pretty & softly romantic. The details are exquisite and it's the perfect length on a greatly/sparkly chain. It will go beautifully with my dress for a beach wedding. I ordered the matching earrings as well and even though my order arrived damaged and I'm getting them replaced, they are equally as gorgeous and match perfectly. I'm excited to wear these on my big day and have them for years to come. 03-30-13

WOW!!! Bought this for myself as I am a Titanic fan. I love the design of the sterling setting as it is very intricate. The stone is absolutely beautiful & just the right size. The diamonds are small as they are just there for design purposes. I am looking forward to wearing this over & over again! 05-18-12

nice gift We ordered this for my older sister as a birthday gift. I inspected it first and it's very well made and intricate...the green stone is light but you can see it's green, the color is just like the picture. My sister is tall and has green eyes and thought this would look nice on her, plus you have the whole Titanic factor which is fascinating. She likes the necklace but had a problem getting the necklace attached to the hook, they are so small these days you can barley hook them together. I think she's keeping it and will wear it often. 05-16-12

Pendant going back I was also disappointed when I received this pendant. I do like the size of it but the Prasiolite is very washed out. I liked the idea that it was designed from a something from the Titantic. But I wil be returning it. 05-03-12

Well... This pendant is a lot smaller than it appeared on air. the diamonds are small, but very nice quality. However, the Prasiolite stone was not up to par. The color was very washed out. For this price, I just could not justify keeping the pendant, so back it went. 04-11-12
