Not what I expected
Coin dull and not much gold at all...looks cheap (to me)....am sending back.

KIND OF DISAPPOINTED
I should have read the description better. The coin is beautiful but I thought the onyx surrounding the coin was wider. It is just a thin width around the coin. I will keep it but not the substantial pendant I was hoping for.

Was Surprised
I never imagined that the piece would be this nice or substantial. I got it to build on my collection from Vincenza coins jewelry. The funny thing is i have a huge amount of Lire coins from Italy and was in hopes of someday turning it into jewelry. I did notice one reviewer said that she got perfume on it and it is dull. I also have the gorgeous coin bracelet that is hinged, I ended up buying three, two for gifts for friends that are of Italian decent such as myself. The coin bracelet got a little dull and wearing jewelry in this disgustingly humid state of Florida, I have learned a few tricks on keeping the coin jewelry nice and brand new looking. For starters, I took out my Lire coins and worked on them. Secondly I keep all coin jewelry in my Lori Greiner safekeeper to keep from tarnishing or getting dull. If you cannot afford to do this, go online and order the little black squares that qvc sends with the jewelry. Those squares and keeping in the plastic bag will keep them nice
NOW THIS IS WHAT I HAVE DONE. I KNOW THAT MOST OF THE JEWELRY IS TREATED WITH SOMETHING TO KEEP THE SHINE, IF YOURS IS DULL OR HAS GOTTEN SOMETHING ON IT, OBVIOUSLY THE CHEMICAL IS GONE, SO YOUR NOT TAKING A CHANCE DOING WHAT I HAVE DONE. I USE A GOLD OR SILVER POLISHING CLOTH. DO NOT DUNK THIS IN THE HARSH LIQUID CLEANER....WHEN I EXPERIMENTED ON MY OWN LIRE, I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE BLACK TARNISH THAT CAME OFF ON THE RAG AND NOW ALL MY LIRE COINS WOULD BE FIT TO TURN INTO JEWELRY. I HAVE HAD THIS PENDANT FOR OVER A YEAR....I HAVE A BAD HABIT OF TOUCHING AND PLAYING WITH MY JEWELRY. SO I HAVE DULLED IT MYSELF. ALL I DO IS TAKE ONE OF THOSE REALLY SOFT POLISHING CLOTHS AND CLEAN IT. I USE GOLD FOR MOST PIECES. THOSE CLOTHS HAVE A SIDE THAT YOU BUFF WITH AND IT MAKES THE PIECE TARNISH RESISTANT.....I WEAR MY COIN JEWELRY ALOT AND AFTER THREE OR FOUR TIMES, I JUST GENTLY POLISH IT AND WA LA!!!! THE SHINE IS BACK. ALL MY FRIENDS THAT I HAVE GOTTEN COIN JEWELRY ARE DOING THE SAME THING. ANY METAL EVEN GOLD WILL TARNISH OR LOOSE LUSTER AT TIMES, THESE CLOTHS ARE WONDERFUL. I do notice the quality of the silver. Pieces like RLM, Hagit, have the most gorgeous quality silver. I clean with these cloths and my pieces look like new.....you won't hurt the coin. And if it is dull already what do you have to lose. At this price don't hestiate, it is bold and a conversation piece and a part of history! I WRITE REVIEWS TO HELP OTHER QVC BUYERS....USING A POLISHING CLOTH MADE FOR GOLD WILL NOT HURT THE COINS. IT WILL SHINE THEM LIKE NEW!

Very Nice
I was pleasantely surprised at how nice this pendant is. It is substantial , larger than I thought it would be and the onyz with the gold coin is really well done. Very pleased with purchase.

Prettier in person.
I just got back from Rome and saw this on QVC, so I ordered one in the black onyx. I put it on a black cord and liked it so much I ordered another one for my friend who went with me. She loved it as well. It will always remind us of our trip to Europe!

Great Pendant
We went to Italy a few years ago, and unfortunately didn't buy any coin jewelry while we were there, so I purchased this to give as a birthday gift to my Sister. It is a substantial piece, and I am very pleased with the purchase.

TOO cheap to baby!
I accidentally got a little perfume on this coin, and it lost its shine. You have to baby this piece and its lack of durability makes it impossible to enjoy. I wish I could have gotten my money back!

WOW! LOVE IT!
I love this pendant so much prettier in person. Wear it alot. Every one really likes it. It is just the right size.I love lire coins. Try to buy one every time I see them on QVC. Great price and quality.This is my favorite pendant. It is very different. You can always find different things on QVC that you can't find any where else.
