Unique Design
I purchased the blue and pink stone rings. I love the blue ring and have already received several compliments on the ring, but was disappointed in the pink stone. The color was too light to "hold its own" with the silver design on the top.

Disappointed
The silverwork is pretty and I appreciate that but I ordered the Dolomite thinking it would be more of a yellow color. I'm very disppointed in the color of the stone. It turns out to be more of a cream color. Thats my disappointment.

Got it in Dolomite- Beautiful!
This ring is absolutely beautiful. Carolyn does not dissappoint. The silver work is gorgeous and this is what seems to capture everyone's attention, then they notice the stone. I ordered it to fit my middle finger as I have short fingers. It has a nice presence without being overwhelming.

Big and Beautiful
This ring is absolutely stunning. It is very large and a great value. I got the rodonite one to go with another one of her rings. It is very comfortable to wear. Sizing runs true also. I would not hesitate to order another one of her rings. Just love Carolyn Pollack's designs. This is a lot of ring for the money!

Borderline uncomfortable...
I'd rank it 3.5, but I'll round up. I ADORE the look of the top of this ring; the bold overlay is just incredible. But below the stone, just under that rope detail that circles the stone, is a scalloped edge. That scalloping is a very narrow ridge, and it pushes down against the finger like a little silver cookie cutter. Have you ever worn a hollowed-out concave dome ring? Where the underside edges are "sharp" against the skin? This ring kindof does that, but only directly underneath the stone (the rest of the band is fine). I have dozens of CP's rings, and they are always so comfortable that you don't give them a second thought when they're on your finger. This one, though, I keep FEELING due to those ridge's pressure points.
I also don't feel the shank matches the top of the ring. In comparison, the shank's silver seems flimsier and too cut-out. See that big round cut-out on the side? I'm sure the band is nice and strong there, but it doesn't LOOK that way. I purchased a size to wear on my pointer finger, but I wish I'd purchased for my ring finger so that more of the shank would be hidden.
I was planning on getting the Aventurine too, but I've changed my mind. I'll keep my onyx but will wear it carefully.

GREAT RING!!
I love Carolyn's settings and this ring does not disappoint. I have it in the black only (for now!) and find it to be the perfect size for the ring finger if you want something not overly bold but not small. This ring is a great everyday piece. The silver work on the side and overlay enhances the beauty of the stone and adds interest. (Of course the contrast between high polished black and silver is so striking anyway!) Great ring!! Love this ring
I just recieved my first Carolyn Pollack product and LOVE this ring. I got the Dolomite(yellow) and it is wonderful! Not too big or too small diminsions!
