Looks Fake
I bought this piece as a travel piece.
Truth is I can't YET afford a $150,000 ring but this ring looked very costume like. (Second piece I bought from QVC that I thought looked fake as SOON as I took it out of the package).
It doesn't compare with the quality of some higher quality Russian cut CZ I have seen.
I know that for many a larger carat ring automatically looks unbelievable but... I wanted a ring where if worn someone would think "wow... what does SHE do for a living" as opposed to "what bubble gum machine did she get THAT ring"...
Sorry QVC! Not sure why it got such high reviews!

Spectacular!
There are no words. This ring is beautiful! The stone is so bright and clear - not to mention extremely sparkling. I chose the silver and it looks like a million!

The Next Best Thing!
I've been looking for a ring such as this in terms of cut, size & tapered in silvertone. Found this one to be most similar from what I've seen searching for. In terms of price, craftmanship and the specifications I wanted. It is definitely believable, yet a bit glassy but imo the idea is to enjoy what it is... the next best thing!

Timeless
I purchased this ring in the goldtone, as the silvertone was not available in a size 5. The color of the goldtone is definitely costume/fashion, but we are not talking Tiffany or Cartier. I was impressed with the emerald cut and the setting. Very nicely done and it is a classic, timeless piece. This ring will be perfect for traveling and for the price, definitely worry-free .

Classic Beauty
I just had to get this, I wanted to see if it was really as good a looking piece as is claimed. Yes it is and then some. It is very well made, all the claws are perfect and the stones are set straight. The original has less metal, a bit more delicate looking, (when you have Platinum you don't need lots of it as it is an incredible strong metal). I am also sure the stone in the original is probably flawless, so, yes it is a bit "Glassy" looking. Ladies don't be put off by this. With this particular cut you have to use very good material as there is nowhere to hide any flaws, It is one reason why this cut is so much more expensive historically, and the reason it was the cut favoured by the very wealthy. I am going to enjoy mine. ( ps, QVC can you make it in white gold for us)

Beautiful but looks so fake
I was so excited to get this ring home and although it is quite beautiful, it is also quite clear that it's not real diamonds. My acutal wedding ring is over 3cts (radiant cut) so I could wear this ring easily and no one would take a second guess but I just can't past how "glass" looking the ring is. I'm giving it three stars because it would be a great fun cocktail ring. Unfortunately though, it went back.

Believable even though large
I am late 50's, and financially 'comfortable'. So, to KEEP my $ in the bank, I look to QVC for beautiful jewelry to match my lifestyle! My husband/daughter always check what I bought to be sure it is not 'over the top' and faux looking. So, in the past I felt a 5 carat ring was about the maximum size I could wear without it looking too much like faux bling and not enough like a real diamond or gemstone. However, this ring is a great fooler! The emerald cut allows for the higher carat weight to look believable on your hand. I wear this for less than formal events a lot. The stone really sparkles while many other emerald cuts suffer the matte look. The comfort is amazing and I feel happy each time I notice it. It truly is a worthy purchase which will get a lot of wear. Get this one!
