Not quality
This was a very disappointing purchase. The watch is made of cheap plastic and is gaudy looking. It is just plain unattractive. I had been waiting to purchase a watch from Joan's collection but will never do that again. Not a quality product.

I will keep because of the price, but this is not a quality watch? Maybe I could not expect it to be quality because of the "Lunchtime Special" price but is not special.....

Lightweight, easily readable - I like the dial. I get compliments everytime I wear it.

UNBELIEVEABLY LIGHT....
I purchased this watch in clear from a canadian shopping network and when I received it I thought it weighed nothing and it felt horrible. WRONG!!!! This watch is my new 'go to' watch. It keeps time and is very light weight. I have alot of other wathces and ALL are heavy. This watch is light and perfect! Keep up the excellent work Joan! XO

Really love it but...
I also popped off the stainless looking cover and it is now absolutely PERFECT! It has a large face one, of the biggest I have ever had but really do like it. Joan think about taking this exterior dial off. Would have given it 5 stars, otherwise. That metal cover comes off easily and just remove any glue left behind.

Great addition to my collection
I hate to admit it but I'm hooked on collecting watches...............Especially Joan Rivers' watches. I purchased this and I'm very pleased. I plan on wearing it soon with a special outfit. I like it because it is not too heavy and I expect that it will be very comfortable in very hot weather during the summer. Hooray for me!

I liked everything about this watch, except...
The cheap silver dial with black marks. I jimmied it off, scraped off the glue and revealed the tortoise base. It looks so much better this way!! Quick fix to really make this watch work and give it smidge of better quality!
The black face can look brown in the sunlight and really goes well this watch. The adjustable links are also a great touch, too. I was looking for a tortoise watch and this really works quite well. I wore to my high-end retail job and had customers clammering to find out where it was from!

I have had many compliments on this watch!!Love everything about it..The band is great ..I have a very small wrist and to be able to remove those links so easily was wonderful!! So very attractive ..Joan keep up the great values...Love you

Another homerun for Joan
Had to write a review after reading the comments about the band. Yes, this watch is stunning AND I believe the band will hold up. Saw this and immediately had to have it which, given my extensive collection, says something. And I should say that many of my watches are by Joan Rivers. One consistent feature of her watches is the qualtiy and that remains true with this very stylish timepiece. I have worn it daily since I received it. True to my nature, I have not been gentle and true to its performance, it remains as beautiful as the day I unpacked it. Also it is the stainless steel portion of the band that hits the back of the wrist where most of the friction would occur. The resin portion straps both sides of the face making it lightweight; a feature I enjoy.

So Disappointed To Return This - Could Be 5-Star!
I was very tempted to keep this watch because so much about it was perfect - a handsome watch face, rich tortoise combined with a black face, and the removable links for a perfect fit on my 5-3/4" wrist. The idea is great. So, why return it? The band. The weight was just not in keeping with the face. In fact, this is the first Joan River's watch that I thought could break. Joan, if you rework this band, this is 5-star. I hate to use the term "flimsy", but that's what I thought about the band. It needs to be more substantial in keeping with the face, and to give it balance. Sorry, Joan. Hope you consider redoing this one. I would order for sure.

LOVE The Face.....HATE The Band
I got the tortoise and the watch face is beautiful. Love the silver and the non-glitzy appearance. But the band is thin, cheap plastic. Call it resin but it's ugly, cheap plastic. Why would you ruin this otherwise perfect watch? Oh yeah to keep the cost down. I'm so disappointed.
