Yes the metal is thin, and you may feel dissapointed on how light this necklace is when you take it out of the box, but as all other reviewers say, it lays nicely on the neck, and looks very substantial once on.
The extender is about 4" long, which is great because you can really personalize how long or short you want to wear it. I particularly like it shorter, kind of like a choker, and wearing the big star "off center".
Each "charm" is adorable in its own right, and they all feel SO soft to the touch, typical of RLM jewelry.:)
The high polish of the metal makes it look like you have pieces of mirror on your neck, when light hits them, great reflective effect.

serious, yet fun
I am a fan of RLM. Usually in not such a bold way but this makes me feel "special." It is bold and if it were heavier I think it would be uncomfortable. No problems in wearing it.
It's a stunner and whimsical~~~makes people smile!

Very unique.
This necklace is a good design and very unique. The only down side for me is the gauge is thinner than expected.

outstanding piece of art!
I had purchased several of the RLM "Warhol" pieces before, all in sterling. I absolutely loved them! I had hesitated about getting this necklace, though, as much as I loved the design, because of the inclusion of the brass pieces. I'm usually a silver or white-gold fan. But, when it was announced that this would be the end of the Warhol collection offerings, I figured I'd give it a try before it was too late. Am I ever glad I did! What an outstanding piece of art this necklace is! It is designed so thay it lays beautifully on the neckline. And it will go beautifully with the sterling pieces I already own. If you are on the fence about getting this one, do not hesitate. Grab yours before they are all gone --- you won't be sorry.

LOVE !! BUT???
I LOVE THE NECKLACE IT IS BEAUTIFUL-- BUT, I HAVE DIFFICULTY WITH IT LYING FLAT IT TWISTS AND TURNS . IT WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT BUT IT MAY GO BACK.

Celestial Delight!
I saw this necklace on the show hostess and I went WOW! It is even more beautiful in person. The shine is spectacular, just like the milky way! The necklace lays so beautifully on the neck. This truly goes with everything. I bought the Warhol brass bracelet and they look spectaular together. My new favorite Robert Lee Morris pieces!
