Color: Rated an E on the color scale—a perfect blue-white stone.

Clarity: Flawless. Manufactured from the finest rough. No inclusions.

Carat: The carat size of a Diamonique simulated gemstone is measured exactly the same as natural diamonds. Thus, a one-carat Diamonique simulated gemstone is equal in size to a one-carat diamond.

Cost: The look and appeal of real diamonds at a fraction of the cost.

Confidence: Set in gold, Platinum Clad® sterling silver, sterling silver, or stainless steel—only you will know you're wearing Diamonique jewelry.

About Cushion Cut

Rounded corners and an open bottom (culet) are the defining characteristics of the cushion cut. One of the most popular cuts, the cushion was the premier choice for all fine diamonds — from 1830 to the turn of the 20th century. When the famous gem cutter Tolkowsky introduced the round cut, the cushion adopted some of its angles and gained significant fire.

Often referred to as the pillow cut, the cushion is square or rectangular in shape. It's less brilliant than the round cut but more dispersive in color. The Cullinan II, a famous cushion cut, weighs over 317 carats and belongs to the British Crown Jewels collection.

J262434 - Diamonique Sterling Simulated Tanzanite Pendantw/Chain 4 5 3 3
My favorite necklace I just keep reaching for this one. I took it off the chain that comes with it (I had to snip a link, but you can't tell and the chain is still usable for other pendants) and put it on a thicker rope chain. I got the round, and I can see blue and purple in the stone. The size is quite small, which makes it look more "real". Most people don't recognize it as tanzanite; I've had several compliments saying, "Ooh, that's such a pretty sapphire!" and that's fine by me. 03-01-13
doesnt look like tanzanite I bought both the round and the cushion, thinking they would match the epiphany tanzanite earrings I have. Not even close. I gave it three stars because it is a lovely necklace, but in no way does it resemble tanzanite. Both of mine were a deep blue. There was no red or purple at all. I even brought them outside and moved them around in the sunlight trying to find another color at some angle - nope. They both looked like a fake sapphire. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and sent them both back. 10-27-12
A little disappointed I was looking forward to this pendant until I found out that you can't remove the chain. The 18" sat more like a 16" and didn't look nice on me. For anyone else the chain is pretty (very delicate) with the Diamonique stone at the end of the extension. The simulated Tanzanite stone is true to top quality color of genuine Tanzanite, nice refraction of all three colors. 10-01-11
