Nice ring but not perfect. I received this in the mail about a month a go and I have worn it multiply times on my middle finger because of the width of the ring. So ladies if you have short fat fingers I dont think this is the ring for you. I usually wear a 8 1/2 or 9 but for this ring I had to order a 10. People have comminted on the ring but not a lot. You know when you wear a show stopper and everyone ask you about that ring, that hasn't happened with this one. Since it is a uniqe style it is kind of like adding a little piece of art to your unique collection. The gold is nice and sturdy or solid. You can't bend this ring. The ring is very smooth does not catch on anything. Ted L. said you could have your initials added to the solid gold bar if you want so i was thinking abt doing that. The solid gold part does show scratches. The ring doesn't turn around on your finger. I'm am happy with my purchase but there is not a "wow" factor. Just a nice piece to add.. 07-15-12
