Dweck Diamonds Sterling & Yellow Sapphire Magnolia Ring

A Note from the Designer

"The Magnolia Collection revolves around my favorite flower in my garden. Magnolias are a lot of work to take care of, but they're one of the most fragrant blossoms and most rewarding flower to grow. This design combines the beautiful shape of the magnolia with a center of pavé stones for a very special piece."

—Stephen Dweck

Graceful in its shape and alluring with its sparkle, this exquisite sterling silver ring is like no other. A 14K yellow gold-plated magnolia blossom grabs your attention with bead-set, round yellow sapphires at its center. The shank's branch design has a natural quality that is an attractive contrast to the feminine flower. From Dweck Diamonds.

About Stephen Dweck

Renowned jewelry designer Stephen Dweck's formal training began at the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he studied sculpture and painting. Designing hand-carved stone bangles was his initial foray into the jewelry world. In 1981, Stephen launched his first signature line at Bergdorf Goodman. It wasn't long until Geoffrey Beene asked him if he could spotlight his jewelry on the runway. Over the years, Stephen collaborated with designers including Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, and Catherine Malandrino.

Intrigued by nature at an early age, Stephen Dweck learned to incorporate the elements into art and design. He collects stones from all over the world — tourmaline from Brazil, boulder opals from Australia, ammonites from Morocco, and pearls from the South Sea. A great deal of thought and effort goes into making each piece of jewelry, from sorting through thousands of stones to making the perfect setting.

Stephen's jewelry is on permanent display in the costume department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Institute Fashion Archives. His Manhattan showroom features Stephen's belts, men's jewelry, serving ware, renovated furniture, and home collection.

A long-standing member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Stephen has worked on many noteworthy projects including "Absolute Dweck" for Absolute Vodka that incorporated his signature jewelry with their iconic bottle design. He was also commissioned by Bombay Gin to create a bronze and crystal martini glass.

All designs are produced and manufactured in Stephen's Brooklyn studio. Brothers Edmond and Gregory oversee the production, technology, marketing, and customer relations for the growing company. They hope to enjoy another 25 years of success.
