Going back
I ordered the lemon citrine as a gift and am sending them back. i was so disappointed when I opened them - the lemon looks like a clear cyrstal, no contrast with the silver. Perhaps the purple would be a better choice.

Beautiful but too heavy!
I love, love, love these earrings! I hated to return them but they are just too heavy for my ears. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars! It might work for someone else but sadly did not work for me.

Sadly Had to Return
I ordered both the amethyst and the lemon - both pairs so beautifully done. Sadly I have returned both pairs because the of the gemstone weight. I tried wearing both pairs (and received compliments); however, the weight of the gemstone was too much for my ears and made them hurt after wearing for couple of hours. By the end of the day I couldn't wait to remove them. Perhaps Robert could use this design with a post and clutch and that would help with the weight rather than the shepherds hook. Again I really love them, but just couldn't justify the cost when I couldn't enjoy wearing them for a long period of time. Sorry Robert, I really love your designs and inspirations for doing your beautiful jewelry. I said I wouldn't recommend only because the weight didn't work for me. The earrings are beautiful if gemstone weight is not an issue.

Great earrings!
I love all RLM jewelry. These are no different. Got the earrings in the Citrine and they are so cute. Robert really does try to take us outside the box with his jewelry. Thank you, Robert.

…NO TEARDROPS SHED FROM ME, ONLY TEARS OF JOY, AS I RECEIVED A PAIR IN THE LEMON QUARTZ… They are artistry in motion from the one and only Robert Lee Morris, and these Teardrop fall right into place with my other jewelry from this ascetic designer. The sculpted sterling silver bezel gracefully ‘suspends’ the beauteous round gemstone cabochon,, whether you get the amethyst or the lemon. Set in gleaming sterling silver, the Shepherd’s hooks with clear stoppers included (the latter always welcomed by me), gracefully adorn the earlobes. Love them!
I have them in citrine. The color is very light, just a hint of yellow (hard to say it is citrine unless you know). This being said, they go with everything due to the color of the stone being so light. In the ear they feel comfortable and the size is perfect: not too bold but not too tiny either. I am happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a nice and easy pair of earrings to wear all the time. If you expect big, bold with lots of color, look further.
The price tag may be a little high, but you can expect to pay a little bit more for designer pieces in precious metals. Also the design is unique and you will not find a similar pair in the retail stores.

Great pair of earrings
Thank you, Robert, for a pair of earrings that us ladies with shorter necks can wear. I've been waiting for another pair of your earrings since I purchased the Meandering Heart earrings. The length of these earrings is perfect! I purchased the Lemon Citrine earrings and the color picks up whatever I am wearing. The earrings are not heavy and very comfortable to wear. I love them!
