Pitted On the plus side this is a solid piece of silver with a nice thickness to it. On the negative side the back of the piece that I received is very pitted. Unfortunately because the clasp is attached to the piece the wrong way it constantly hangs sideways so the back is very visible. I have a fairly thick charm bracelet. The clasp is large enough to fit on it but only after a little effort is exerted. For the price it is a decent addition to my bracelet. Not quite as special as I had hoped though especially given the important event it is supposed to commemorate. Getting my doctorate is one of my proudest achievements. Wish this had lived up to the moment. 06-22-11
