Heavy Duty Quality Item
We are remodeling at our house and needed new storage/hanging options in our laundry room. This item, although a bit pricey, seemed like it would be perfect and it is! The shelves are heavy and coated in a nice thick black powder coat finish that should last years. I put it together myself, without the assistance of my DH who has no patience for such things. He is, however, just as pleased with the unit. It will roll, so it will be easy to move to clean under but if you want to lock it in place, two of the casters have locking mechanisms. I did look at similar looking units at a local discout retailer and I can tell you the racks and other associated pieces for those were much lighter weight and seemed very flimsy in comparison. We keep our motorcycle boots and other shoes we use regularly on the lower racks, use the hanging rack for drying or for hanging items fresh from the dryer. The hooks on one end are great for car keys, umbrellas, hanging small items to dry, etc. A great purchase in my opinion.
