Very Dissapointing
After reading mixed reviews, but loving Dennis Basso's other products, I ordered this throw in snow fox. When I opened the bag, the harsh chemical smell on the throw was overpowering. I unrolled it and checked it out, the shag fur was okay, but then as I stroked it, it began to shed badly. The smell, plus the shedding, plus the fact that it seemed small, all led me to ship it back ASAP. Sorry QVC, this one was not a winner, and I can see what the negative reviews were getting at. I had high hopes, but this was a dud. Do not order this unless you want a smelly, shedding blanket!

Be Still My Heart.....
How anyone could put a negative on this gorgeous, classy, thick and warm faux fur throw is beyond me! I have dozens, and this is certainly one of my favorites! I purchased the snow fox and it looks wonderful draped over my brown leather studded chair. I live in the north, so I'll leave this out all but summer months. In the summer I opt for a thinner throw. Buyers you cannot go wrong on the snow fox. It is a dream and I thank you Dennis for this longer hair throw. I LOVE IT!

Family fighting to get this throw
Bought one for my bedroom and my youngest daughter fell in love with it. I love the throw just as much. Bought the snow fox and the light brown and cream colours are beautiful. Feels wonderful. Bought a brown fox one for my daughter in law for Christmas, because we loved this so much. She has been wrapped up in it since she got it of Christmas. My son says she absolutely loves and even makes him take it with him when they go away for the weekend so she doesn't have to be without it. That being said my middle daughter finds the texture of the longer fur to be disturbing and much prefers the H197713 Dennis Basso Oversized Animal Print Faux Fur Throw & Pillow Set I bought for my youngest daughter for Christmas. So 4 out of 5 raves for the Fox Faux fur in this house makes this a 5 star review. There was a slight smell when it was new out of the bag, however, that went away after about a week. Just wish it was a little longer.

Love this Throw,.it's so soft and cuddly!!!
This is the throw I always reach for. It is the most soft and cudly throw out of the four I have. The length of the fur is log and it is absolutely gorgeous. It Looks So Real!!! Thank You Dennis, I really Love this one.

WOW!!!
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this. I was trying to bring an upscale, warm and inviting look to my newly decorated family room and this absolutely accomplished that! Dennis thank you so much for the beautiful faux fur products. QVC...please keep them coming!
As far as details, I will use this as a decorative piece. I could but wouldn't use it to snuggle with due to the fact that it is dry clean only. With that being said...it is very soft and closely resembles actual fox fur so I would throw it on the floor in front of the fireplace to sit on with the hubby. :) Just not a wrap me up and fall asleep with throw. I bought the snow fox and it goes beautifully with my taupe leather sectional. If you are even considering this, go for it!

This is really very nice. I had to laugh at what another reviewer said..that it looked like a dead animal, and who wants a dead animal in their house? I guess that would be a compliment to the maker, seeing as faux fur is supposed to look like real fur...which IS a dead animal! It's beautiful, you won't be disappointed!

How this ever got through quality control is a mystery. It seriously looks like a dead animal which is not the look most of us want in our houses. Stay far away from this item. There are other fabulous throws at QVC, just not this one!

Sheer luxury & warmth!
This is the 4th DB faux fur throw I've ordered. Gave 3 away as gifts. Finally, after seeing it on sale, i decided to treat myself. And, am I glad I did!!!!! No one is gonna get this one. All mine! Dennis, LOVE YOUR STUFF, Jackets and coats included.

So Disappointed
I ordered this right before Thanksgiving and received it with great hopes to put out on a sofa in the living room for the Holidays with my other Dennis Basso throw. So disappointed in this item and embarrassed to place out thinking friends will ask, what is that? Back it went.

Too hairy...
This just seemed too hairy, the fur was too long for my taste and had an oily feel to it, sort of like a very dirty dog. The texture was just too weird for me to keep and I am a Dennis Basso fan, but not a fan of this one.

Bring back the old style faux fur thows please!
I just received the item. I am equally disappointed as some of the other reviewers. It was to be a Christmas gift for my husband since he adored the older ones purchased a few years ago but they are getting worn from so much use. We're in NYS and the winters are long so we need something cozy.
While the throw is ok, it is no where near as plush, the backing is nothing special and the faux fur is a bit rough, and yes, the one I purchased looks like a wet dogs fur dried. The good news is my cat immediately curled up in it so I'll keep it, preferring not to wrap it up and return. It'll be kitty's Christmas gift.
Please, Dennis, do some of the older style throws. Your new ones are nice since are washable but there are times we want a really spectacular faur fur throw. It'd be worth paying more.
