Very realistic looking
I purchased this item in all 3 colors. I have one in a guest bathroom and have received numerous compliments. Most think it is real. Only drawback is the battery box is a little difficult to get out. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Very pretty. Works well as a nighlight too using the timer funtion. Subtle yet bright enough to see..

Broken / Erratic / Off Centered
The first violets apothecary jar was broken.
The lights of the replacement jar blink erratically.
The flowers are not centered in either jar.
It's next to impossible to get the battery box out.
Am I optimistic enough to try a third one? I think NOT.

I just received this and am very happy. The batteries were easy to put in and it looks very nice when on. I would recommend this to anyone.

Disappointed
I love Bethlehem lights but was very disappointed when i received this today.The lights didnt work .The jar was beautiful but the flowers were not pretty at all and looked cheap.Sending it back

Very nice
I received this jar and was very surprised at the nice size it is. The glass is very heavy and very well made. It also was package very well. The lights and timer works so I'm very happy with my purchase. I really enjoy BL thank you QVC. JMS

I REALLY wanted to like this - BUT.....
Growing up, we always had violets growing around our home due to my Mom's green thumb. I on the other hand did not inherit her skill and then Bethlehem Lights brought this item out. Love the concept but the execution of the design is terrible. First, the lid to the jar does not sit properly in the jar. I had assumed that the battery box would be hidden and was prepared to have to pull it out of the faux dirt. Unfortunately, the box is cut exceptionally close to the size of the battery box, so much so that I had to get a long serrated bread knife and slide it into the cavity to wiggle back and forth until I could loosen the box out of the cavity to put the batteries in. Lastly, My particular jar came with hundreds of fingerprints on the inside and the outside of the jar. Should have been a clue to me this was going to be a challenge. If I decide to keep it, it will stay on the timer function and never touched again. I will say this though - once I got the battery box out and inserted my batteries and lit it, the jar does have just enough light for a vanity in a bathroom. Sorry B.L. but this one misses on too many marks.

Just beautiful
This is so pretty.I have not tried the lights yet, but I'm sure I will love it.This is really,really beautiful.I will be back for the other colors.
