SOOO DISAPPOINTED
Beautiful colors (latte & blue) & very soft, however....DO NOT ABSORB!! And NO, I do not use fabric softener w/towels. Purchased 3 sets, so wanting these to work. Worst purchase I've ever made w/QVC!

Not as absorbent as I had thought.
Also the "huge" bath towel was just an average sized bath towel. I assume "huge" means bath sheet size. Wrong! They are very soft and I will keep them but would not purchase these again.

Soft and Comfy
I bought 2 sets because the price was good for Egyptian Cotton. I really like these towels, so far. I have only laundered them once, at this point, and the shedding in the lint trap didn't seem excessive for new towels. They seemed to absorb well, also. The only negative for me was that there seemed to be more loose threads then should be expected and a few pulls in a couple of them. Only time will tell if they wear as well as the 25 year old wedding gift sets I am replacing these with. I agree with a previous reviewer about the loops being the cause of the snags and pulls.

Nice colors, looped yarns snag and pull.
I ordered rose and green and the colors are exactly the shades I wanted and they seem absorbent. To those reviewers that say that they are not absorbent-are you using fabric softener? This decreases absorbency. For many years I have been searching for towels in which the yarns are cut and not looped as looped yarns snag and pull. Was hoping that these might be them--but yarns are looped and pulled very easily. Many years ago (40 to be exact!!) we received towels as wedding gifts and I am still using some of them. They aren't looped, don't snag and I wish they would still make them. Please Northern Lights could you look into this??

Nice Towels for the Price
I bought the pink set while they were $19.98. I've been looking for some inexpensive towels and can't believe how poor the quality of towels in this price range can be at the department stores. This set is very nice, much better than those I saw at the stores. They are thin but the threads are compact and the towels are large in size .. After the first wash they were absorbant. Oddly though, after the first wash the over all color darkened a shade. Still a nice pink. I thought the presentation made them look a little fluffier than they were. I'm not sure that I would pay the normal price of $33. But they are a good value for under twenty dollars.

COLOR IS SO DIFFERENT THAN SHOWN ...
THE COLOR IS MORE FADED OR LIGHTER THAN IT APPEARED TO BE. I WANTED A LIGHT CHOCOLATE ( LATTE ) BUT ITS BEIGE. NOT AT ALL THE LATTE I HAD IN MIND.
I CANNOT COMMENT ON ANYTHING ELSE , AS I HAVEN'T WASHED THEM OR USED THEM YET. NOT SURE THEY'RE GONNA BE ABSORBENT , THEY HAVE THE FEEL OF BEING SLIPPERY. I'M HOPING FOR THE BEST, AS I ORDERED 5 SETS.

BE WATCHFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I so wanted these towels to be as good as your blankets and sheets. I bought the green and a set of dark blue. I found the towel and hand cloths to be a great size.
I also found that they were not absobent, even after a few washings, I am now finding that they are shredding. I will continue to wash them and hope that I see some
improvement.
I love the sheets and blankets.

LOVE THESE TOWELS!
I had a very specific shade of green to match and these were perfect! So glad I bought 2 sets. The bath towel is extra large and soft. Usually when a towel is this soft, it tends to repel the water rather than soak it in....not these. They are absorbent AND soft! I just wish they came in a larger variety of colors with some dark shades mixed in. I need some dark brown or taupe in case you are able to bring in more colors.

Soft feel...
I purchased another set of towels from Northern Nights that I just love! They didn't have the color I wanted at the time but they felt so soft and absord quickly. I enjoy this set too, but after 2 cycles in the wash before using they still leave little fuzzies on skin. The texture isn't as absorbant but for the price they are a decent purchase.

Second Set
This is my second set and I love them. The bath towels are large, they are true colors and soft and fluffy. I would recommend to wash first then use them. I just love them.

Thin, non-absorbent towels- No thanks!
I wanted to like these towels, but they were too thin and too soft to absorb anything. Plus, there were threads hanging all over them.
Please bring back Northern Nights H166740--- now, that is a great towel! Thicker, great color, and better texture to absorb- not too soft or too rough! These Egyptian cotton towels are a real disappointment!

SOFT
Received these towels and washed and dried them right away. Came out real soft, and they are soft on the body. I gave it 4 stars only because of the color. I thought these were more pink then a coral pink. Will keep them as they blend real well with the bath decor.These would make great gifts for weddings, and for someone starting out in their first apartment, or just to make a change in your bath decor.
