pretty accent votives
Very pleased with these votives. Pretty when lit as well as unlit. Have them sitting atop a small cabinet. They look delicate, soft and add a little glamour. Would recommend.

Shabby not chic
Looks and feels like plastic, not glass. Just not a good quality item . Sent back right away. So diappointed. Had them on my wish list for a long time.

A bit disappointed
I kept these, but they were not worth the money at all. Very pretty but made out of cheap looking plastic.

LOVELY and ELEGANT!!!
I almost never write reviews as my free time is very limited. However, I felt the need to comment given the bad reviews these votives have received from others. After reading them I was almost convinced by them not to make this purchase. I watched the very first Shabby Chic show that aired and really wanted at least one set of these. Since they were pricey with the s&h added in (that's why I gave only 4 stars and not 5), I decided to wait until I had more spending money and made a mental note to buy them as soon as I could afford. I thought about them for months. Then one day, they appeared in a quick flash on screen as a lunchtime special at a greatly reduced price. I could not get to my phone fast enough and ordered 3 sets. Then I went online and read the reviews which almost made me cancel my order. So glad I didn't
All 3 sets arrived in great condition and they are LOVELY!!! Yes, THEY ARE GLASS, not plastic. A very thin glass however but the fact they are thin & delicate and not thick & cluncky is what makes them so beautiful. They are just the right size. The silvering is very pretty on them and they are in no way cheap-looking. They are delicate, lovely, and very classy. They hold my candle impressions battery operated votives with a perfect fit. I like them best when not lit however because that is when the silver finish is most eye-catching. I will admit that the original price for these with s&h was steep since I wanted more than one set, which is why I did not buy them when first presented. The lunchtime special price though was a steal for items this lovely & unusual. They will go with most any decor, are very dressy little treasures, and my nine will stay out in my home 90% of the time. Great on mantel, in bookcase, or down the center of a dining table. CLASSY AND ELEGANT. IF YOU CAN AFFORD, BUY MORE THAN ONE SET.

Disappointed
Haven't been this displeased with a QVC item in a long time. These are very flimsy & the rhinestone things stuck on the front are cheap-looking. I just bought a mercury glass votive for $3.50 that was much better quality. I didn't buy more because I knew these were on the way. Big mistake, these are going back.

Totally ignore the crazy reviews about these being plastic....which made me crazy.
They are glass and 2 times maybe 2 and a half times larger than most votive holders.
They are really gorgeous...the glass has a pleated pattern like a cupcake holder.
The mercury pattern is rich looking. They aren't as delicate as others wrote....a little fragile
but lovely. Rachel Ashwell did great...unlike one person wrote. I was just at TJMax and they had large clumsy thick ones. These are very nice....don't hesitate to get these.
I also bought the table with 1 drawer and cabinet. Very very nice!!!!

Terrific visual accent!
I am going to order more of these Glass Votives. Any where you put these
they lend a small mark of elegance. You can place these in any room.
I placed a min battery flame inside them the glow from this wonderful glass
is so stylish & warm. I would NOT use candles.
The new ones I am now getting will go on my alter
next to my Buddha.

Enchanting! Magical!
First let me clear the air...these votives are indeed glass, extremely delicate! I would NOT use traditional votive candles in these votives, I use tea lights and/or battery operated tea lights. You'll still get the same effect! To clean the wax out of these I fear would damage the glass. When lit these are absolutely beautiful! I use them in the bathroom, the powder room, put them on the mantle (great for Christmas). No Shabby-ness about these beauties. I ordered 2 sets and they arrived safely, unbroken. But I can see how they might get damaged during shipping. Personally, I think QVC could of secured the inner boxes a bit more so they don't "shift" during the journey. These would make lovely gifts for anyone!
