Toasty Warm!
This is a beautiful blanket, inside and out. Color is a real compliment to my mauve bedding. The Down blanket is SOOOO warm, yet lightweight...even the dog loves sleeping with me! You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Great Down Blanket
I hesitated to order this at first as the price was so reasonable and I thought that it might not be as good as my other Northern Nights Blanket, which cost a little more. But sure glad I did order it. We love it. I put it on the bed last night and it was the perfect weight. Color is perfect for our room too.

MY DAUGHTER SAID SHE WANTED A DOWN BLANKET LIKE MINE FOR CHRISTMAS SO I GOT HER ONE. I LOVE NORTHERN NIGHTS. YOU CAN'T GET A BETTER PRODUCT LIKE SHEETS, COMFORTERS, FLANNELS, PILLOWS., FOR THE PRICES THEY CHARGE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. SHE'S GOING TO LOVE THE COLOR.

Lightweight but warm!!
This is the second down blanket I purchased from northern nights. This one came a bit flat, but I put it in the dryer for a few minutes and it fluffed it right up. I love it!!

northern lights topnotch
love the size, fits the bed just right, warm and light weight and washable..only thing that was a disappointment was the color thought I was getting baby blue turned out grayblue..kept it any way.

Lightweight Luxury
This is my second NN 550 FP down blanket (I also own H12879, reversible Egyptian Cotton blanket, which is GORGEOUS). I notice very little difference between this lovely blanket at 350 thread count and the other one that is 500TC. That's how much luxury there is in this fine down product.
I bought this blue one because it has subtle alternating stripes that give it a pretty look on the bed. The first one I own has a pretty "vine" print on one side and solid on the other. So now I have good choices for keeping my bedroom looking pretty. The two blue blankets are almost identical shades.
This down blanket is very lightweight and quite warm considering its price point. It has plenty of drape for my deep mattress and tucked in nicely. Satin binding is sturdy and generous and this blanket looks, feels and keeps warm remarkably like anything that would be much more expensive.
So far no feathers are flying, all stitching is tight and even, the down seems quite evenly filled in the squares. Highly recommend this beautiful warm addition to your bed. The other one I bought is now sold out and this is a very fine choice in itself.

I got the cordovan and it is a beautiful rich red, just like the picture and video. It is so well made and will last a long time. I bought another NN down blanket about 4 years ago, and made the mistake of washing it too much over the years. The fabric became thin and faded and feathers leaked out all the time. This time I know better. I love all natuarl fibers and layers on a bed - a comforter looks dated. This blanket tucked over NN sheets, under a cotton blanket with a silk/cotton quilt and matching Euro shams from Pottery Barn gives a great look to my bed and it's all I need through all the seasons.

Use It Every Night
A heavy down comforter is a little much for me, and this is a perfect weight almost year round here in the southeast. The fabric is a bit stiff, but overall I love it.

Just ok
I know that down is very light but seriously, I can't tell there is any down in this "blanket". This is not what I would cal a blanket in the real sense of the word it is more like a duvet, not something you really want to cuddle up in at all. I decided to give it a chance and wish I had simply packed it up after I saw it. It is pretty so if you want something to go on your bed or guest bed that looks nice you might want to get this, but if you are looking for something snuggly and warm get something else!!! I am thinking about giving this to my sister and buying an electric blanket as this is too light weight and really not warm at all.

NN Down Blankets are a must!
I've had a Northern Nights Down Blanket for a couple of years now and just love it. Easy to wash and dry as it fits easily into a regular/large sized home washer/dryer and comes out all fluffy!
I use my down blanket year round and it's not too hot in the summer. Down breathes and is feels much better than any other fiber. It holds in your body heat, but it doesn't make you sweaty like a wool or polyester blanket would.
I wanted a second blanket for my bed to have this Winter, I do have a NN down comforter but I prefer these blankets as they feel lighter to sleep under. I have a lovely blue NN blanket, and ordered the gold. The two colors look nice together, the gold is a very soft color...somewhere in between the color of butter and butterscotch.
