Royal Palace® Rugs: About Rug Shedding
Some shedding is normal for a wool rug. Shedding occurs when static electricity attracts loose wool fibers, or when rubber-soled shoes—like sneakers—break off small wool fibers. This won't affect the wear of the rug. After receiving your new rug, we recommend that you vigorously vacuum it vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, with the brush set at a low setting. Repeat this for 23 days; it's okay if you fill more than one vacuum bag or canister's worth. This vigorous vacuuming will not harm the rug and will help minimize shedding. You can then vacuum regularly with the brush at a medium or high setting, alternating with an upholstery attachment. We recommend vacuuming once every two weeks. You'll find wool fibers in the vacuum bag but, again, this won't affect the wear of your rug.

Beautiful rug! I have been waiting for a rug for my dining room and I have finally found it! I purchased the 6 x 9 in the sage and it is gorgeous! The pile is so thick and feels wonderful underfoot. It matches everything in my dining room and now completes the look I have been searching for. Don't hesitate to buy this rug...you certainly will not be disappointed! I also bought it with free shipping and 5 easy pays...makes it that much better! This will not be my last Royal Palace purchase... 04-23-13

Beautiful, incredible value! Thick, luxurious rug that has finer quality than my other rugs far more expensive; even the imports. Choice of colors is great; would like more patterns Please give us same rug material/thickness/color choices with other patterns. I am going to buy more for bedrooms. 06-25-12

Be careful! Just because it's Royal Palace doesn't mean the quality is good.....I ordered a Royal Palace rug a few years back and was very happy with the quality, color and durability. I can tell already this set of rugs are not even close to the quality of my previous purchase! I ordered the black, and keep vaccuming over and over and still fills up my canister a month later! There are spots in these rugs that are white (in the black area) that look like lint but they are not. The texture is not up to the standard of my previous rug either. Wish it didn't cost so much to send back or I definately would. 04-17-12

awfulI I was excited when I got the three rugs in green.They looked more beautiful than on screen and made my livingroom more stunning.HOWEVER......I have had rugs like this previously and I have NEVER had such pillage,fuzzinf and balding from them as I still have from THESE pieces.I kept them because it was too much trouble to return them...for me anyway.I have these about 3 years and they are still shedding and I have bald sections.....thay I have to keep hiding by rotating the rugs under my furniture.IU'm so very disappointed........ 04-06-12

Great!!! I ordered the 6X9 (Black), 3X5(Black) and the small one (Black) for my kitchen and Den. The large one goes in the Den, the 3X5 goes in my kitchen and the small one goes in the doorway leading out to yard from the Den. They are beautiful. Glad to see more modern styles. 03-20-12

EXCELLENT QUALITY We just received our 6'X9' rug in the Ivory. We have sage greens, browns and rusts in our decor, and this rug matches perfectly! Also, I was VERY pleased with the quality of this rug. Like the hosts talked about on the presentation, the pile is very thick, and you almost can't put your fingers down to reach the backing! In order to match the quality, I would have had to spend FAR more money. Will order another rug in a different size to match. If you are thinking about this one, GET IT!!! 03-16-12

ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought this rug in three sizes, hall, living room and dining room in the ivory. They are so plush and so soft on the feet. The colours are so rich and there are so many colours in each square inch. They are the most perfect rugs I have ever seen, I was a little worried about not seeing or feeling them ahead of time but would do it again and tell everyone to go for them!!! Gorgeous I have wanted one of these rugs for a very long time. I finally found the color, pattern and size that I needed. I purchased the Garnet and it is just beautiful under my Georgian period dining room set. It has completely transformed the room. The color is a beautiful medium burgundy color. 03-10-12

Love my new rug! I ordered this size and the 2x3 size in blue for my living room and front door entry, both in blue. They are absolutely beautiful and added a lot of color to my room which was needed as I have leather furniture and wood floors. Watercolor Rug I have purchased many rugs in the past from Royal Palace through QVC and have always been exceptionally pleased! This one is the BEST of the BEST! The colors are vibrant! Gorgeous in Garnet! I just received my rug in garnet and it is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are so rich. It looks beautiful in my family room. I hate to put the coffee table over it and cover up even one square foot! 03-07-12
