Repeat Purchase
I've bought multiple strands in all of these colors. Have also given as gifts which were loved. Friends do need suggestions of how to decorate with these. I've put them in hurricane jars, floral arrangements and garlands, and on my mantle and tables. I purchase a huge "C" battery package for $13 from Costco to use for them. I use the six hour timer so my batteries last about a month before replacing.
I love the Decorative Metallic wire for each strand!! With the decorative metallic wire it is So Pretty to look at that you don't ever need to try to hide it! I wasn't able to purchase the spring colors and have been waiting for them to come back in stock in celery green, lavender, yellow, light blue, and pink. Now I see they've been Discontinued - OH NO!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE SPRING COLORS!! Peach would also be nice for my summer beach/shells themed decorations.

Beautiful and Versatile Lights
I ordered three sets (burnt orange, silver, and the gold). The lights are beautiful and very versatile. Most of these types of products use a lot of batteries. While some last longer than the others, most items like this don’t last longer than 2-3 weeks (a month if you’re really lucky). That said, battery life isn’t an issue for me. I have slowly been purchasing really good rechargeable batteries like the Sanyo eneloop’s (AAAs and AAs); however, the C and D rechargeable batteries (these lights take C batteries) are much more expensive. However, if you figure out what you’d spend in alkaline batteries, going with the newer NiMh rechargeable batteries saves you money in the long run (even after purchasing the charger). I recommend using either Lithium batteries if using these indoors or in mild outdoor climates (lithium batteries aren’t recommended to be used in cold temperatures as they don’t last) or going with rechargeable batteries.

great for trees
we bought 4 of these in Christmas in July and put them up this year liked them so much ordered 4 more want ed blue had to get purple. we have a lot of trees these are great they wind around the trunks and with battery packs dont need wires running all over the yard. my batteries lasted all season. but i put them on flicker and 6 hours so they will last.

One of the best little items I've ever purchased from QVC. Used during this past holiday - so easy to use, love that I could use anywhere since it doesn't need to be plugged in, love the timer, loved the look - basically loved this item!

Battery eaters
These are very nice lights, color is awesome...but they go through batteries like crazy...used high grade ones and they went out within 2 weeks...BL items are not really that great any longer. What a bummer!!!

Very Cozy and Pretty...
Loved the lights! Put one set in a vase, the other in a container that holds marbles...The only problem I have is replacing the batteries.....They do not last but maybe 3 weeks...I set the timer which I love....but replacing the batteries is costly.

Awesome
These lights are great. There is nothing in the stores like them. You put them where you want them, set the timer and uou never have to bother with them again. Ive got 6 sets and I hope they have them again this next year. I want more.

not much light
I purchased these to wrap around a wreath on the front door. They are very flexible so they wrapped around the wreath very easily... However, they don't give off much light...they seen dim, even after replacing the batteries (again)... The box is way tooo big....it would seem like Bethlehem Lights could make it smaller, easier to hide.... Overall, I would not recommend these lights.

Not Worth the Money
I ordered this item in August during one of the Christmas shows. The lights were pretty for three weeks. I can't afford to replace three C batteries every three weeks. I'm done with Bethlehem lights. The centerpieces that I ordered last year don't work this year and I have had trouble with other battery operated items as well.

BIG BOX
The box for the batteries is to big and bulky. Wanted to use in bottom of hurricane lamp. But won't fit. Have to send them back.

Darn it
Wish the purple strand had purple lights, like the red, blue etc. would have been perfect then. They look alright but could have been better.
