Lacking Quality
I did not even two minutes to decide this was a return. I have a Lenox set from QVC and side by side the luster was lacking on the Reed and Barton compared to Lenox. The Lenox set for 12 shines and was so bright compared to this set. I did not care for the pattern or the quality of the imprint not sharp and lacking contrast. For a twelve piece setting with all the serving pieces not bad for everyday use but I just do not want flatware that I am not at all impressed with.

Very disappointed
I hate to write a bad review, but I ended up having to return this set. Right out of the box, I wasn't terribly impressed with the pattern and I felt the pieces looked a little tacky (like the finish was so nice it looked fake, if that makes any sense). I really needed flatware, so I just went ahead and used them. I liked the large size and it was certainly nice having all the serving pieces, but after less than a month of use many of the forks and spoons were already showing wear or some kind of staining. One of the table knives even had rust on it. I mostly hand wash and dry my silverware, so I really don't know what to make of that.

Nice flatware
I love it and found it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to switch over from what I've been using for over 38 years and spoons and forks came up missing and I had to get a new set. My only complaint is that I feel the small spoons should have had a longer handle. The handle is too short compared to the shorter fork. that is the only piece I still struggle with as the handle just isn't long enough

Quality, Value and Convenience
Perfect !
A true example of QVC best characteristic.
Excellent quality, in size, weight, and luster. Great value, great price. The absolutely wonderful convenience of being delivered right into your door steps.

Great quality
My "good" silver is Reed & Barton and I've had it for 45 years. I decided to splurge and get Reed & Barton for my everyday silver. It is wonderful. Substantial weight, appreciate the steak knives, beautiful shine. Perfect for us.

Love it
I purchased this set several years ago when it was called Woodlawn. When I saw this set on QVC now called West End I contacted Reed & Barton to see if it was the same pattern. I was told that it was. I was missing my master serving spoon from my Woodlawn and I am hoping that Reed & Barton will send me a replacement. I really love this set. My set was 95 pieces and included the ice tea spoons.

Plenty
I have had many 4,6 or 8 serving flatware sets but with a set of 12 no more searching the dishwasher for a fork! This set is nice, simple, LOVE the sharp knives that match the set and the cost is very reasonable. For the holidays I'll have the service pieces to use too. Nice.

Not the same as prior Reed & Barton 18/10
I have a Reed & Barton 18/10 flatware set purchased several years ago from QVC that I love, so when they finally came out with 18/10 again on QVC I bought a set for my daughter and me in the Greenbrier pattern. When it came, I opened one box and briefly looked at it, but did not take off all the plastic on each piece since I intend to pack it away for later. Have not even opened the box for my daughter because I planned to give it to her later this year. Finally decided tonight to unpack mine and notice that it is not as shiny as the set I've had for years and also has "Reed & Barton Stainless China" printed on the side of the blade of every knife. How tacky to have it right there on the blade!! Now I'm stuck with 2 sets. Of course I'm past the 30 day return mark. I guess I'll use it for every day instead of saving it and try to find my daughter something else.

so... so...
Spent the extra money for the 18/10. Some of the forks had bent prongs. Also even know it is 18/10 the silverware still had stain spots. After I used the silverware and then loading the silverware in the dishwasher, but not running the dishwasher right away, the silverware had spot or stains from where the food was on the silverware. I have found that if you rinse the food off right away they won't stain.

Great Quality For The Money
I have spent years looking at many service for 12 sets and have been very discouraged with the high prices for poor quality flatware. I purchased two sets of West End design and am extremely happy. They are nicely sized, lovely pattern, weighty, have a nice shine and are just exceptional. This flatware goes with china and everyday casual dishes. The are the best I have seen anywhere for the price. 18/10 flatware is hard to find and you won't find it for this price. I have a few pieces that have some small scratches from shipping. I will call Reed and Barton and I am confident that they will stand behind their product. Exceptional set - you will be more than pleased if you purchase this product.

No Regrets!
I bought the set last week and when it arrived ,I was shocked how heavy the box was. (15 pounds!) I did a lot of research before this purchase and wanted only 18-10 stainless. The flatware is shiny, heavy, well-balanced, and lovely. What a value! The large serving spoon was slighlty scratched so I called R&B's 800 number and they sent me a replacement the next day. Washes well without spotting in the dishwasher. I purchased the West End design-- it is sleek, modern and timeless. I know sometime in 2007-2009 the set came with long iced teaspoons (which is the one thing this set need to be complete) so I am hoping against hope to find them on overstock oneday. I would have paid a great deal more for the enitre set had it been available. Very happy with my new flatware. Elegant and classy.
