High End must have FAN
This is one of the best puchases I ever made from QVC!I have it over 2 years, and I use it every night! Even in New Jersey.....It is quiet and the air flow is perfect! I ge so many compliments when people see it! And they know it is a Dyson and are very impressed!
All other box fans, you cant wait to hide in closet and stroe away, this stands out in my room as a piece of art more than a fan and a conversation piece...If I had a bigger space, I would add one to my living room, as I like the Heat-cool fan QVC also carries...
It is worth EVERY Penny!!!!!!!! Thank You QVC for having it on e-zpay and making it affordable for me!

Second to none!
This is the first of this model and our second Dyson fan. We bought the 12" fan first and love it. When I saw this one on easy pay I asked my husband if he wanted this one and he did, The fan is relatively quiet, powerful and it helps the air conditioning system take a break. It cools the house sufficiently that we can raise the ac unit 2-3 degrees. It was a huge help with the over 90 degree heat and humidity this summer. The fan is easy to use. You just have to look in the manual to see what the symbols mean and push the remote clicker, Very simple to clean. Now if Mr. Dyson could do something with NJ mosquitoes...

Too difficult to adjust for comfortable airflow
This particular model did not live up to the quality and ease of use I've come to expect from Dyson products. And it is the least favorite of all the Dyson fans I own.
Why I don't like this model: 1. Too loud at high volume. Sounds like a jet revving up for take off. 2. Difficult to get right amount of airflow 3. Difficult to aim the airflow where I want it.
If I knew the above before I bought it, I would not have bought it. I gave it 2 stars because it does help reduce room temperature if I use it with my other Dyson fans.

Glad I could return it
Wow; I really was looking forward to this fan. I had seen the smaller one in the stores, and I really like the technology. I found it to be very adjustable - you can raise and lower and tilt the top, and adjust the speed, etc. I also like to support innovative products and companies. Unfortunately, I didn't like this device - and I was sorry I didn't. Because it is so expensive, I wanted it to be a lot better than a regular fan. It really wasn't. Even then, I would have probably kept it, except I couldn't use it the way I needed to use it. Because the sensor for the remote is at the base, I couldn't control it if I placed it across the room and had anything in between. If I had extra money just to spend on something unusual, I might have kept it. At least with QVC, I had the opportunity to try it out.

great fan
Forget the cost, BUY IT. Best fan I have ever had. I don't tolerate heat and this really improves the situation.Really cools a room.Very easy to put together. NO TOOLS.Quiet but very efficient.

Great Fan
I just love this fan. It's quite different from a blade fan - I have never liked a fan blowing air in my face and this one does not do that. It is an indirect type of cooling and does an excellent job. It is also easy to assemble. If it holds up it is worth the price. Should be easy to clean.

a fan is not just a fan
Would never have believed how great these two fans are. have a large ranch home with tall ceilings. these immediately brought the temp in the great room down two degrees. may not sound like much, but that is the difference of air conditioning coming on or not. two days now, hasn't been on yet even after a hot west colorado sun afternoon. I have 31 windows and even with plantation shutters closed the west sun can still heat things up. I'm cool everywhere now. these are doing better than my vornado fans. compared with the lowest settings. dyson won easy!! shhh very quiet too. buy them and take advantage of the easy pay

Dyson Air Multiplier Pedestal Fan
Don't hesitate to buy this fan. Expensive but well worth it. It is very nice. Nothing like a traditional fan. It gives the room an airy feeling making my cluttered room feel more spacious. No more walking into a hot house where the heat just stands still like walking into an oven.

Got this yesterday got it up and its a Great Fan. Fans make my Husband crazy Because of the blades cutting the air he says sounds like Air plane taking off. But this one has no sound noise. Now he will leave my fan on . I will be buying the 12" , and tower fan, and will get another pedestal one. Fans move the Air around and they do such a great job of it. Turn them on High has some noise but it is not a loud sound you just know its on High. The greatest thing Thanks Dyson A GREAT PRODUCT as all of the Dyson Products. Rating a Strong 5 5 5

best ever
I always have a fan running and this one is the best. Don't have to turn it all the way up to be cool. I also have a Dyson vacuum and it is the best vacuum I have owned. I was replacing both fans and vacuums about every 2 years. My vacuum is about 4 years old and works like new. Hope I have the same luck with the fan.
Dyson is a genius.

LOVE!!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!! Just received today. It was a cinch to put together. It only took 5 minutes. The air output is unbelievable!!! Where was this fan all my life??? I would recommend to everyone.
