Nice Candles
I purchased these candles to put in two lanterns hanging on my porch. They have a very believable flickering glow and I am more than pleased with the way they look. The automatic feature plus flicker or color options make them a good value with no effort on my part - turn them on once and forget about them!

Would not recommend
I just opened these today (2 months after I ordered) to find out that the only one I opened will not stay lit and it appears as if these do not have a timer (bottom says off/flicker/color changing. Quality poor.
I purchased a set of three varying sized candles with timers at the same time I purchased these, wish I would have ordered two sets of those and NOT these. Waste of money.

Good...But Not Excellent!
I purchased two Candle Impressions ivory wax "candles" when they first came out and both still work. Unfortunately, they have yellowed almost to a harvest gold color over time. When I saw these indoor/outdoor candles with timers I decided to try them because I figured they would not yellow, could be used outdoors without the wax melting and they have the five hour timer feature. My initial opinion upon receipt is very favorable. They are much brighter than the "old" candles I have had for several years...possibly because these use D batteries and my old 6 inch candles use A batteries. In addition, both seem to be working without problems. One thing I will mention is that 19 hours between glow times (five hours on and 19 hours off) is subjective. Mine fluctuate by about 10 minutes...no problem though...just don't expect exact on / off times. Even though they are not real wax the manufacturer has done a great job in making them look and almost feel like real wax. To install and change the batteries requires removing two small screws. I actually had no trouble doing this and it keeps the battery cover from popping off and helps prevent moisture buildup when left outdoors. After using the 5" size for over a week now I have ordered the 4" size to use in my half bathrooms as night lights. Hope they work just as well.

The Quality is Missing......
I purchased these in March, 2011 and have used them outside twice, bringing them in at the end of night to avoid the elements. Went to use them the 3rd nite and one of them doesn't work at all despite trying new batteries. I tried the batteries I took out of the non-working candle and they work fine on something else. Huge disappointment.

Dont waste your time & money
I was so excited when they finally arrived, but soo disappointed when I opened the package to find YELLOW candles.
These are definitely NOT Ivory, they are a definite Butter Yellow.
The description really needs to be updated.

Great Quality
I am not sure what some people expect. I almost didn't order these due to a few bad reviews.
Boy, am I glad that I did. They are just exactly what I had hoped that they would be.
Believe me when I tell you that I am pretty much an expert on candles. I use 1many many candles along with other various lighting in my back yard at all times. We provide a garden for many events such as weddings, graduation parties, barbeques and others. I always have many many candles
with timers. Candle impressions provide the best quality on the market. Color is natural
and they last for years. You will not be dissapointed. I really don't know what some people expected. ITS A CANDLE!!!!

These are great!
Look so real, i cant believe it! Im very happy with these and well worth the money! I have them on my front porch, timer comes on every night and the color changing feature is just gorgeus!

Love these for outdoor tables
I have 4 sets of these then had to have more. They are truely dependable out timers rain or shine. I leave these in the yard on tables next to the swing on the porch and they never fail. Great product. will order again and again. Candle Impressions is a great co.!

So Pretty!
I really love these candles. I purchased them with the intent to put on 2 rustic candle sticks which I had seen on clearance that I was going to purchase at a local store, but when I went back to get them, sadly disappointed that they were all gone! So found a set of 3 candlesticks at a different store, so now I have to buy some more candles so I have one for the 3rd candlestick! LOL Just love Candle Impressions & all of the decorative ways you can display them!

cheap looking
They look cheap, very thin and dont have a bright glow,very very poor quality, and have no scent only keeping them because sending them back with the postage is half the price....and not worth it

Cheap looking
I received these after being on waitlist, I have other candle Impressions that I really love, I don't like these the light is very dull & the candles feel and look CHEAP. The quality is not there.;(

How long are these good for?
I purchased the set of 3 graduated size indoor/outdoor candles summer of '09. Put them on Christmas of '09, they worked perfectly from then til ... today.-11/30/10. So I put brand new batteries in them and now...they won't work AT ALL!!! Are these only good for ONE set of batteries? I thought they were supposed to work indefinitely....can anyone advise me? Thanks.
