Beautiful!
This is the quality and workmanship Tara has spoiled us with in the past! I ordered two sets of this dinnerware in brown and was so pleased when I unpacked it all and there was not a quality control problem with any piece. It is all gorgeous! I was afraid after experiencing disappointment with the Vivid sets that these might have had the same issues. But no, they are all good. The size of the plates is great for portion control, as are the cups and bowls. I am very pleased with this set of dinnerware!

Disappointed
I actually love this dinnerware. As our family grows, I need to purchase another yellow set. I am very disappointed to learn that yellow is discontinued.

Doesn't match
I started to collect the old world blue last year. I ordered the large set of square bakers and they are perfect. I ordered the deep dish pie plates and they don't match, the color is darker but I kept them anyway. Then I ordered the pasta bowl set and all of it is different colors and none match. I decided to give the dishes a try and once again...none of it matches. The color looks like someone took a wide paint brush and painter over all the white glaze with light blue. Unfortunately it costs way too much money to send all of this back, so I won't be buying any more temptations. Now I'm stuck with a hodge podge of dishes and bakewear.

Broken-hearted
I was so excited to replace my set of everyday dishes with these dishes. I chose BLACK because it looked sophisticated on T.V. When my dishes arrived yesterday and we began unpacking them, we noticed the smearing of the color (especially on the dinner plates) was very bad. I had ordered two sets, and EVERY dinner plate was smeared. I understand the variance in color, but the smearing was unacceptable. Also, there were weight variances in the same pieces. Some paint was bright and vibrant, while others were dull and lifeless. I am so broken-hearted to have to return them. The QVC customer service representative was very kind in helping me with my return process. I may try another color, but the BLACK PATTERN was what I truly wanted. PLEASE, TARA, check the quality control on these dishes. Thank you.

Gorgeous!
I love, love, love my black Old World set. I ordered a place setting for 12, since the shipping and handling is FREE after you purchase the 1st set. It arrived in perfect condition...not one knick or chip, and it is exactly what is shown on the Q. The dinner plates are nice and large and the bowls are big and deep. The mugs are a perfect size - not too big, but not too small. I also bought the completer set. The platter is gorgeous! I have it displayed on a plate rail on my kitchen hutch. It accomodated 2 flat iron steaks and/or holds 24 cupcakes! The serving bowl is huge. The sugar bowl has lovely handles, and I love that the lid has a cut-out so the sugar spoon fits in it and closes.
I can't wait to add more pieces to my collection! Don't hesitate to purchase Temp-tations...you'll be a happy camper.

Disappointed -- No Old World Blue
After ordering new design, receiving it and sending back due to quality issues, I decided when old world design offered again to order it. But for some reason, they are not offering it in Old World Blue. Very limited colors -- oh well, I am very frustrated because this indicates pattern will be retired. My fault for sitting on the fence so long. But I will not re-order new pattern due to quality issues I experienced. Extremely disappointed in Temp-tations lately due to quality issues. I realize they are hand painted, but to have bubbles and inconsistent painting hues is disappointing. Especially for someone like myself who has arthritis and packing then re-packing to send back due to poor quality control is tiring and discouraging.

it just makes it that much more outstanding. cant wait to collect more peices.

Oh so pretty!
i purchased 2 sets of this set in Confetti, because we're doing a kitchen makeover and i haven't picked out paint colors/accessories yet. The sets arrived together, one day early, believe it or not! The packaging was tight, so nothing was broken when it arrived. i do have to say though that 2 of the plates from one set are chipped on the bottom (not worth returning and being without). I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the soup/cereal bowls- much deeper that i expected. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but the mugs are perfect for a late night serving of ice cream. All in all i am happy with my purchase and will certainly return to QVC to purchase more Temp-tations to go with my dinnerware.

So pretty!
I love them! The pattern is beautiful. The coffee cups are a little small but nice. I only wish they matched the blue Hand Painted Stoneware set by Temp-tations.

Love It !
I have several pieces in the Old World Blue and am very happy to get these dishes that match my other items. They are very pretty and I love the mugs rather than smaller cups & saucers. I will probably get another set of 4.

Awesome
I received my dishes about a month ago and just love them. I ordered two sets after buying the bakeware I knew I would love the dishes they are just awesome. I have four Sisters who have bought both the bakeware and the dishes after seeing mines. I have told all my co-workers about temp-tations as well.
