Great Book!!
Thanks so much for offering your customers such a delightful book. What great ideas!! I purchased this book for my granddaughter; she is nine. She loves to bake cupcakes, so, this was a no brainer. We have thoroughly enjoyed looking at this great cookbook and have tried some of the yummy receipes. Highly recommend!!!

You Can Trust Southern Living
My granddaughter loves to make cupcakes.I gave it to her as one of her Christmas gifts.When I saw Southern Living put it out ,that was all i needed.She was very pleased receiving it.She said the same thing.If Southern Living did it,it must be good.So next time I see her I will ask how they turned out.After baking all my life,I know when you bake,the recipe must be followed exactly.No temperature change,or substitutes.Baking is very different from cooking.

calls for flour we don't have
I love the book, we do not have soft wheat flour in California, so was told I could use cake flour, but I am not sure. Made the white cake and the cupcakes were so light and fell when coming out of the oven. Can anyone help and tell me should I just use regular flour next time? They taste good, but look odd, also the coconut cream frosting is way too sweet, think it needs less sugar.

Fabulous Recipes!
Every recipe I have made from this book is delicious. The cake is light and moist and the paired icings and decorating tips are perfect. Best of all, the recipes are simple. I love it!

big book of cupcakes
has anyone tried making the cupcakes. I tried the white cake and they were terrible. I don't know what went wrong. I tried lowing the temp and cook longer, then tried higher temp less time. The cake was weird, it seemed fluffly when it was raw then very dry and falling apart once cooked.Flavor was good but the consistancy was terrible. I made the Lemon IceBox cakes.It says 24 cupcakes and i got double that. Does anyone have any ideas what went wrong. I didn't see any reviews on actually making them, just about the pictures and book as a whole. Please help!

This is a great cookbook! The cupcakes I have made have been wonderful and all the tips and tricks are very helpful! The keylime cupcakes have been a huge hit, I have made them more than once!

I have made several different cupcakes and they are awesome. A friend and I used a frosting for her daughters wedding cake, many many compliments.

Best Cupcake Book I have ever Purchased!
This is the best cupcake book I have ever purchased and believe me, I have cabinets full of them! I am addicted to cake and cupcake books and have been collecting them for quite a long time! I was always just a little disappointed, therefore, I kept looking for the perfect cupcake book. Well, my search is now over. Tons of pictures and the layout is clear and easy. Great recipes, too! I can't imagine a better cupcake book out there! Yay for me!

AWESOME
Couldn't wait to get this, so worth it. Great pictures, easy to follow directions. Simple enough that if you want to add your own treaks to them you want to. Good Job Southern Living!
