Rated 1 out of 5 by Bubble I tried most of the dishes did not like any of them. Give the book to my local library. 03-12-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by loves to cook My mother and myself love to do easy quick recipes that warm your heart these are healthy quick recipes that are easy to follow and have meaning . We do make things our own with spices of choice and giada encourages making them your own throughout the book 01-05-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Weeknights with Giada cookbook I have watched her on the Food Network and enjoyed her program and most of the foods she made. Thinking this book would follow about the same types of recipes...and maybe some of her books do, I was disappointed that they are not recipes I would use. I did buy two books and will not return them, as it would be too costly, so guess, I will just pass them on, in Christmas gifts and hope recipients are happier with it than I am. 05-12-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent I can't believe I am already cooking the recipes. the book is easy to follow. you don't have to be some professional before you can cook the recipes. it's written in a way that will make anybody understand. what i appreciate most is that the ingredients are accessible and cheap. just like her cooking show, the book is explanatory. it's highly recommended. 04-30-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Endless Recipe's! I actually bought this book for my friend for Christmas (she is Irish & Italian) so I thought it was perfect and so did she. Great photos to go along with recipe's! 04-14-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Giadaness I love Giada & her cooking!!! Some of the recipes are a little over the top but they are very decadent & Italian!!!! 10-26-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the cookbook! Regardless on what others say, I love this cookbook! It does'nt have weird ingredients for me. For simpler recipes try "Family Favorites Cookbook" which has everyday ingredients. 06-15-13
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty darn good... I have already cooked one recipe and picked out others to try...I love watching her on tv and her book looks good....You don't have to be a chef and they are easy to follow.. 06-12-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Typical Giada! Another great book from a great cook! Don't understand the reviews about "exotic" products. I either had everything in my pantry or was able to get at my local grocery store for the recipes I've tried so far. All have been delicious and quick for week nights. Very pleased with this book. 06-12-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great book Love to know about her and her family. Receipes not difficult and all ingredients are local and easy to find. Love Giada and her cookbooks and I watch and record her cooking shows alot. Thanks for sharing Giada-it is so appreciated. 06-11-13
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed- recipes strange and difficult I ordered this book because I love Giada's show and I have tried some of her recipes that are just delicious. However, none of the recipes in this book look appealing, and there are too many "pizza" recipes. Who needs instruction about how to make a pizza with store-bought dough? I am returning this book as I am extremely disappointed in the recipe selection. I did enjoy seeing the family pictures, though. 11-04-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the Cookbook Love the cookbook. Many interesting recipes. I have made several of the recipes already. I will admit that some of the ingredients in some of the recipes may be a challenge to get. With the items I could not get readily here in New England I was able to come up with a substitute ingredient that did not affect the integrity of the recipe. I also found the recipe directions easy to follow. 10-28-12
