AeroPilates Pull Up Bar Attachment
Purchased another machine just for this!
I now have 2 aeropilates machines simply because I wanted this attachment! It is awesome and really helps your upper body strength and core!
This pull-up bar is great. About the only thing about it which could be improved is to make the height of the bar adjustable (to vary the angle of the exercise) but there are other ways to get that done, such as by using the box. If you're on the fence, give this a try - I'm pretty sure you'll thank yourself for making the investment!

I love this bar. I have never been able to do pull ups before but now I do and am getting extra strength and toning on my arms. And it works my core at the same time. In fact those who have trouble with being pulled off the platform it is because you need to pull with your core as well as your arms. This bar adds another dimension of arm work to my great Aeropilates integrated workout and given me results like I never could have imagined. By the way, it fits either the 3 cord or 5 cord models and have used it on both because I upgraded!

This is without a question, the best update to my pilates machine. So easy to install and a joy to use it. I am so glad I found it on dot com by chance. Brings a newness to my workouts. Love it!

This pull up bar is so fun! It's added a whole new dimension to my Pilates workout! I was surprised at how many exercises I could do with this too. I would highly recommend it!
This has been more fun than work really, I have enjoyed it every day without boredom. So many different routines can be done for a total workout. At 59, this is for me.
Great add to your machine!
I've been using my reformer for almost 5 years now and a year ago upgraded to the 5-cord. This pull-up bar is a great add to the set and definitely works a whole new set of muscles - I was surprised how light I had to set the cords at first.
One recommendation I would make to the whole AeroPilates line -- create a DVD that lets us pick our own "menu" of exercises. Instead of showing a whole routine, break the DVD into "Arm Exercises, beginner to advanced" and "Leg Exercises, beginner to advanced" etc. I find I cobble together my own routine from a "best of" a couple of DVDs. Would be nice to see the whole range of options for each muscle group.
This is such an easy exercise program to stick to, and it makes your core so strong. I haven't had a back issue in years.

I have asked for an attachment like this in the past so I am grateful they finally made it!!! I love the additional versatility it gives to an already great machine increasing the exercises you can perform!! But keep in mind, this bar is not easy. It makes you work and you will build strong muscles from using this attachment!!! Test out the bar, methods and positioning so you can set yourself up for success each time after. You will not be disappointed in the results you can obtain with this addition!!!
I purchased a second one for my 75 year old mother and she loves it as well!
Easy to use and works great. Fits perfectly with my 5 cord machine! My arms will definitely get stronger with this!
Great upper body workout
I just got my pull up bar and wow, what a great upper body and ab workout. A definite must have with your aeropilates machine. My husband has started using my machine and loves it as well. I highly recommend this attachment!
Unable to use bar
I would have rated this higher but I find it impossible to use. Love the concept of this pull-up bar and really looked forward to using it. (Installation was a snap.) However, neither my daughter nor I have been able to use this because when we try to perform the exercises, we slide up and off of the platform pad. We have read and reread the the instructions and know that we are doing them correctly, but as we pull toward the bar, the cords pull on the platform in the opposite direction and whoosh.....we slide right off. Even my two-hundred pound son had similar issues although he did not slide as much because of his additional weight. If anyone has a suggestion I would LOVE to hear it because I really want to use this bar!
