perfect for 9x13 pans
Vast majority of these casseroles are geared to cooking in a 9x13 pan--the largest one in the Temptations line is perfect! and with the lid- it or the plastic cover perfect o freeze in as well. Many excellent recipes. Some given notations printed with recipe when they are especially good for freezing. Lots of tips for successful casserole making. Tried several and all were very good. Bought second copy for gift. If you are looking especially for recipes to cook in a 9x13in pan this it the book for you. Good selection for each meal- breakfast, lunch and dinner. I really like this book. Easy to use. Clear directions. Good hints. I would choose this one over the cookbooks that are more trouble to handle or find things in and those that are not put into catagories as well as this one is. Good buy for the money.

I wanted to like this book
I have only made one recipe which was the stuffed peppers. It was so awful that my family couldn't eat it . It ended up in the garbage. I followed the recipe exactly. I did wonder about the allspice.
My family loves stuffed peppers but not this reciipe.
I'm a little afraid to try something else.

Great Addition To My Other Cookbooks!
When you work 50+ hours a week, it's great to have recipes that you can make ahead and literally "heat and serve". I've only made shepherds pie so far, but it was excellent. There are alot of others I can't wait to try.

Great casserole go to cookbook!
If you don't like this cookbook, you just don't like comfort food casseroles! My partner and a friend made six of them for company over a weekend and all six were excellent! The real test was one of them them never cooks. They took my book and surprised us all with a weekend of delicious meals in very little time. Another good point was some of our friends are vegetarian and they loved the dishes as well. I however cook all the time and can't wait to try more, and I'm buying more for gifts!
I can't believe anyone wouldn't love this book!
This is a must buy!!!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
This is a terrible cookbook and I was so looking forward to receiving it. I purchase a lot of
cookbooks and I love to cook but this one was a disappointment!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not Impressed!!!
I was so excited to get this book. It looked like a really good cookbook. I got it home and wasn't impressed at all. I sent it back immediately. Sorry.

Nice book, but....
There are a lot of recipes that sound interesting, not your same old one-dish meals. However, many require ingredients I don't normally keep on hand and take quite a bit of time to prepare, so it's not the book for me. Back it goes.

Great cookbook
I purchased this specifically for the French toast recipe. By the way it is awesome! My daughter and I have made several recipes from items already in the pantry! Now that, in my opinion is a Good Cookbook. It has a lot of helpful tips, that even I didn't know... imagine that! This would be a gerat addition to almost any kitchen, especially for new cooks and those on a budget. This is just good home cooking at it's best!! Definitly a KEEPER, I buy a lot of cookbooks and return most of them because they are not practical for everyday living! This is. ENJOY!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!
i looked thru it and thought yes they sound good. i made the chicken pot pie on page 48.....put in techniques round bowls....gave to the neighbors....WE ALL LOVED IT!! Then i made the Frickin Chocolate Chip Applesause Quick Bread....MAN!! ; THAT WAS GREAT AS WELL! i live alone and thought what am i going to do with these huge recipes. make them and FREEZE THEM! then dinners thru the week are easy peasy!

Flavor and Ease
I've enjoyed this book. It can make your everyday meals sing a little with changes to the "norm" and some added zip and flavors. It's great to add some other ideas and dishes to the ole pot luck menus!

Not A Good Purchase
Wanted this book so badly, but mine was defective. Unable to read the recipes as the printing was hardly there! Sent them back the next day, too bad cuz I wanted one for my mom for Christmas.

One of the best cookbooks ever
I love this cookbook It is a must in every household. You will not be disappointed with the purchase of one. Really great recipes!
