Bad It over heated and started to melt the plastic, sent it back. 07-08-12
Wow! I realized before a hurricane was due to hit that I only had an older 150 watt power pack to at least power my cellphone. My older cell phone chargers that were battery operated wouldn't work with my IPhone 4. I ordered this and it came after the storm. THIS IS A WOW! After losing power, phone, Internet, cable during a hurricane, it was great to have a cell phone to keep connected with relatives and keep updated as to what is going on. Even though this device was not used to keep my phone powered but a much larger one sold by QVC, this one would have served the purpose. I plugged it In not using the adapters given but my the wire I usually use, and it powered both my iPhone4 and my iPad2. I was hoping that it I could put alkaline batteries in it during an outage and charge it, but that doesn't work. In reading the manual they do inform you of that alkalines will not work. This is a QVC keeper. I'm putting it in my storm prep box and buying more 2700mAh rechargeable batteries. 09-01-11
