Great speaker for the price!
I purchased this speaker because it was inexpensive and on easy pay. I'm so thrilled with my purchase. Other reviewers said it was comparable to a Bose. I totally agree! The sound quality is excellent. It was easy to connect to my iPhone. It's small and doesn't take up much room. I'm seriously considering buying another one for a different area of my house.

Big sound
I was very surprised that this little speaker puts out big sound. Just took it out the box tried it out yesterday with a line in cable with my nano, sounded better than some of my bigger portable speakers. Will try it out with wireless when I have time , but for right now its perfect. My 21yr old son heard it and wants one too. Get this you won't be disappointed.

I love it!!
I ordered this cause of the cost and I really didn't think it was gonna be all that great, I love it the sound quality is good and you can hear it all over the house I use it more than I do my home stereo with surround sound..

AWESOME SOUND!!
I was hesitant to purchase this but glad I did! It has the sound of Bose and is minimal in cost! A great electronic device! You won't regret it!

Great Speaker!
After watching the video of the demo I decided to give this a try and order it as I wanted a bluetooth speaker that would be plugged in and not need recharging. (If you want a rechargable/battery operated bluetooth speaker see my recommendation below)
I have been able to hook this up to my Android phone and my laptop without any problems. I am quite amazed at the deep bass that comes from this small sized speaker.
It does have its own volume controls on the unit itself as well as controlling the volume from your phone/computer. It also has a "Line In/AUX" jack on the back of the speaker so If you do want to hook something up to it that is not a bluetooth device or that wont connect for whatever reason, you can plug it into the back of the unit.
I was not even expecting it to work with my laptop as it only says on the outside of the box about using iphone/android phones for it, but it DOES work with my laptop using the Windows8 bluetooth software. I did have to tweak the settings, right click on the bluetooth icon and then check off the box that says about showing my computer as a bluetooth device, then go to the speaker and hold down the power button (even if its already blinking) until it beeps, then it should show up on your computer as MEMOREX with numbers after it.
Very happy with this unit. No more running cords from my laptop or phone to the stereo.

Could not get this to connect to my Kindle Fire HD. Called Memorex Customer Service. After being put on hold twice, 7 mins. of music SCREAMING in my ear, decided that it wasn't worth the trouble. Kindle not that unusual of a device to not get any help from manufacturer.

The sound is Great for a $40.00 speaker. Love it
But be aware it does NOT operate on batterys it only plugs in to an outlet.

Surprisingly Awesome!
Yes, it must remain plugged in.... But that's what I wanted... I wanted a speaker that I could use with my phone, laptop, tablet and chromebook without wires and that's what it is... The sound is better than I had expected and the volume range is great. Since it arrived I've used it almost daily.

Not Totally "Wireless"
Memorex uses the term "portable wireless bluetooth" to describe this speaker, which is absolutely totally false if you just read the description. Other than using "Bluetooth" technology to connect to the source, this speaker must be plugged in to an A/C outlet to work, so it's not very "portable".
In all fairness to Memorex, it does have an excellent sound for such a small speaker.

I used the speaker with my new ipad and was very impressed with the sound. I had never worked with bluetooth before and was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use. I look forward to using this product for a long time.

This Memorex Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is so fun! The kids LOVE it and it is easy to use. The sound is remarkable and the size and shape are perfect.
