Bose Solo TV Sound System
Hearing Aid Compatible
I bought for my husband. He wears 2 hearing aids ,can hear better with sound coming out the front of TV.
Not Worth The Hype
I bought this as a TSV. It was ok, but I found it to be too hollow of sound. To me, the price wasn't worth what I got, so I sent it back.
My Bose unit quit working after just 7 months with hardly any use!
Sounded great while it worked
Our Bose lasted 1 year and 4 months. I should think a Bose would last longer than that especially since we haven't moved it since it was hooked up.
I do find a difference in the sound.................no more tinny sound coming from my Sony. I didn't like using two remotes, but I found the code from Comcast to use their remote. For me, that's wonderful. If you have Xfinity, it's 31229 or 31933. It took some looking up, but now I'm a happy Bose customer. It's such a small remote they give, but it's tucked safely away in a drawer now.
We purchased this product a few years ago because our big screen Samsung t.v. has a magnificent picture and not so good sound quality. This product has really helped and the sound quality is totally improved and 100% better now.
We recently purchased a 65" Sony TV and wanted to get a nice sound system. The specialty store where we purchased our TV, recommended a sound bar, 2 sided speakers on stands, a bass unit. and a $1,500. remote to control everything! That didn't even include the delivery and set-up charge.
When I saw this Bose system reduced to $279, I was sold. It was so easy to hook up; within 10 minutes, we were listening to an awesome sound system for less that $300. Thank you QVC and Bose!
I bought for my husband for Christmas he loves it and wants 3 more in the house. Good sound to it would not buy another brand on the market today else it is a Bose. Would give it as a gift to anyone I new.
I don't know why so many bad reviews We have had this for a year now. When we had the pounding sound we called Bose They told us what to do now its perfect, My husband is hard of hearing and now no more loud TV
Another Bose Winner
I have a number of Bose products and have always loved them. Not cheap, but you get value for the money in my opinion.
So I bought the Solo.
So, so easy to hook up. Power cord in Bose, plug in surge protector. Optical cord Bose, optical cord in TV.
And the sound is fantastic. The bass, the depth, high tones, all so rich, so clear.
Some reviews say they had problems after a period of time. Well, I can't speak to that yet, but I have never had a problem with other Bose products that I have had for years, so I am hopeful.
Yes, I guess this is last year's model, hence the price cut. Hey, fine with me.
Great sound, easy of installation, good price.
Wish I would have read the reviews before purchase
This product only worked for 3 months and judging by other reviews mine was not the only one. I know that Bose products are top of the line, but something went wrong with this one. Very disappointed.l
Six months of use and now it has no sound
We purchased this based on the Bose reputation, but after only six months, it stopped working. I'll be contacting Bose Customer Service, but the owner is required to pay for shipping (assuming they'll repair it), and I predict that will be costly. Even at the "sale" price, it's a very expensive item to not work after such a short time period. I guess we'll try the "unplug & plug back in" method and hope that works. As someone else commented, this should not be necessary.
