Not What I Expected
I love ordering from QVC but not sure what happened here. The life of the battery is horrible. It doesn't last at all when u go 2 shoot that important memory

Great Camera
By far one of the best cameras I have ever used. Normally I'm a Sony guy but for the price, this camera is OUTSTANDING! The video quality is excellent, the pix are so so, and the camera is as light as a feather even with the battery. The 4GM card is a waste, recommend getting the 32 GB card. The pre-installed software makes transferring your videos from the card to DVD a snap and lets you arrange the clips in order you like. If you want a great camera for a great price this is the to buy.

Great little camcorder!!
This is an awesome little camcorder, I havent got to use it a lot yet but it is so nice. The first thing I was surprised at was how small it is! its tiny! hahaha. But it has a really good picture on it and it has nice features as well. I would sugest getting a bigger SD card but other than that its a good value and nice product!

So far so good
I just bought this camera and used it on the 4th of July to record family festivities. The quality was exceptional and the camera was super easy to use. I love being able to watch my video quickly by simply taking out the SD card and plugging it into my HDTV. The colors are vibrant, and I found the autofocus to work well. I have already made a DVD copy of the footage I took, and I found the software easy to use. The only negative so far, is I did notice that when the wind picked up during shooting, the mic recorded a muffled wind sound. I have been looking for a camera to record in HD, and I'm very pleased so far.

Fancy ;(
Arrived about 4 days earlier than expected. BUT, much to my surprise when I opened the box, no camera. Instead of a camera there was a fancy box of greeting cards. They sent me the wrong item. Shipped it back the same day. Called the Q and a very nice lady explained that I would have to call back in a few days because the return shipping label was not in the tracking system yet. Once they have the tracking info they will send me the correct item, but I have to call them to make that happen. Otherwise it would be a few weeks before they send the correct item. Fortunately I've never sent my clients to the wrong resort. Anyway, I'll post the review on the camera once I receive it. By the way, the same exact camera sells for $60.00 more on HSN.
I will be billing the Q a $39.00 inconvenience fee...

the best purchase for your money and ease of use
I did a lot of studying of other camcorders and decided on the JVC one. Lots of great things in a littles package. Bought it because we are going to Seattle to see our son and it is ideal for traveling. Light and compact.and lots of recording time. I Love it . it does everything I wanted it to do. I am thinking on buying another one.

Just What We Wanted!
We could have spent more. I hope a more-expensive camcorder would be even more amazing, but this does the job brilliantly (recording our marching band) without straining the budget.
And we really put it to the test, on a home-theatre screen 8 feet wide! This camcorder does all it promises and does it easily. We're ready for our 40-piece marching band on the 4th of July, and looking forward to sharing clips on YouTube or making souvenir discs for the members. One of the coolest features is how easy it is to make AVCHD discs on cheap DVD blanks that band members can play on their Blu-Ray machines. The free software (downloaded from JVC) is slick and intuitive.
It was necessary, of course, to buy a larger SD card ($14), a larger battery ($60), and a special HDMI cable with mini connector ($4.34 from an auction site) so we could connect to the video projector, but now we're all set.
The bottom line is that we can now document events and trips with amazing video quality for a very reasonable price.

Bad mic and fairly good quality videos
Unfortunately due to how poorly it records sound I have to return it. I needed it for somewhat professional reasons. The stills it takes are poor quality but the video isn't bad. it's easy to use.

Love It
I purchased this camera to record my son's baseball games and i am so glad that i did. it is great, compact and it takes clear pictures and video. I haven't really experienced the short battery life like some of the other viewers, but i haven't tried to record a full game, so we will see. For the price, I couldn't ask for a better product. My husband and children love it also.

Hi to all. Well I usually do not write reviews on many products. That is unless it is so good and especially if it is electronics. But this little camcorder is awesome!!! I know absolutely nothing about camcorders. And from the reviews I read I thought I would give it a try as my nephews Graduation was on June 13th. OMG!!! it is great. You can mostly keep everything on i auto. Or do the settings manually and it is not that difficult. I found the main settings were a little confussing at first. Downloading pics and videos to my Computer wasn't to bad either. But a few little steps to click on to actually save to Comp. settings. But as I said I know nothing about video camcorders and actually had a friend that knows about camcorders help me after I took all of my video for the graduation. I viewed them on the comp. and TV they were still beautiful. I took a lot of videos on Zoom setting and they were so clear. I truly love this camcorder. You will definatelly not be sorry. But I would get a 16 or 32 GB SDHC card. And try and find a stronger battery. The one it comes with does not last for very long. Especially if you are taking videos that you will be doing on and off for a long period of time. Hope this helps anyone wanting to buy this. It is a definate keeper.

Good purchase
Love the easy pay option. I like the camcorder and would definitely recommend it! Only flaw is that the battery life is not long enough, but for the price and easy pay option it's a good buy.
