Not worth the money
We recently moved, and during the process, I misplaced my Canon camera (approx value at purchase less than $300) and with two little ones and a new baby due soon, I wanted something to capture the fine moments that occur in our home on a daily basis. I thought this camera would be a great (compact), point & shoot camera to have on hand. I read lots of reviews, even outside of the QVC website and everything seemed good. I used the camera for about a week (indoors, outdoors, close up, scenic, on my kids, on fixed objects) and could NOT find a setting that would take a clear picture. I don't get it! It has a great zoom capability, I adjusted the settings manually per the instructions, and still could not seem to get a focused/quality shot. As another reviewer mentioned, the flash is in a bad spot which makes it very difficult to steadily hold the camera without covering or obscuring the flash-light with your finger- poor design element. All in all, I don't recommend the camera- I think you're better off possibly spending a little more and getting a better camera. Luckily, after some digging, I found my old camera and comparatively, there is just NO comparison in the quality- even with my "old" camera being 5+ years old and heavily used! The camera is suitable as a first camera for a teen or younger person or someone who doesn't take pictures much, but, even with that being said, I believe there are better products out there for the money.

Quality of Pictures Bad
I was anticipating the delivery of this camera and when I recvd it, I wasn't impressed with the quality. I took a few pictures and the flash barely helped lighten any pictures (although it looked quite bright flashing) I wouldn't suggest this to anyone I know. Not quality photos for 14MP

Great Camera :)!!
This camera is awesome. batteries last for ever...sometimes you wonder if your pics will come out bad due to lighting...speed....etc but not with this cam! video is really clear as well. easy to use...but its best to go to walmart and buy a sony 8GB HD card for $15 for memory :) I recommend this for ANYONE!! not just me :P

just ok
This camera is just ok-nothing special-I found that even though I got 2 batteries with my order that they did not last long. I was constantly recharging both of them. I returned it & ordered a a Panasonic 16 zoom.

I love this little camera
I had been searching for the perfect camera and i have found it in this one. I love the size because I want to be able to take it with me everywhere. I keep it in my purse in the little pocket at the side just as I do my cell phone. Its handy that way. Its very slim and lightweight. It takes great pictures, very clear and the zoom is good also. It has a rechargable battery that just stays in the camera and you just plug the charger into the camera. Also the charge lasts a while. you aren't charging it every other day. It also has lots of features on it as well which I am still working on. I am not a photo or a camera expert, but I take lots of pics of my family and grandkids. I go to lots of ballgames and practices. this is going to be perfect. I love it! And you cannot beat the price and the easy pay is sooo convenient for me on a budget. Thanks QVC.

Short of all accessories
I ordered this when they had it on. I was very excited because I had given away two previous digital cameras to son and grandson. This was to be a special Christmas Gift. But I got a small box one day and then nothing else. I was very upset and disappointed. I wrote QVC customer service and explained the situation. Their answer was for me to send it back.

Great Point and Shoot choice!
I recently purchased this Olympus 14MP camera with the 12.5 zoom. It was a gift for someone who is in their late 70's. This person loved it. I was worried that it might be too complicated for her, but it wasn't. She was taking pictures without a problem within 5 minutes.
We wish the buttons were slightly easier to distinguish and that it had a better grip. Also, the flash needs to be much more offset, either centered more or located on the left side of the camera, as her fingers get in the way.
The pictures are clear, and the camera's focus is quick and responsive. The 12.5 zoom is..well...very nice!
Olympus could include a 4-8 GB HD SD-Card as some other manufacturers did when I was comparing models. All in all, you wil not be disappointed with this purchase. I wasn't.

Not bad, still figuring it out
I wanted a camera with a greater zoom, I have a Kodak with 14MP but 5X zoom, and after reading several reviews, thought I would try this one out. Took pictures at my niece's wedding and reception, but they were really dark. I kept changing the scene options trying to find one that would work, still didn't find it. I was able to fix the photos online with the program the camera comes with. Still have alittle more time before I have to return it if I want. I'm still partial to my Kodak. We will see in the next few weeks.

Great Camera
I bought this camera for myself, and could not wait until Christmas to open it. What an incredible camera, and photo software program! I can create cutting edge photos, and capture all the family moments, wildlife, with the zoom, and quickly adjusting speed components. Very easy to use! Lightweight, and I am keeping it in my pocket, or handbag.

Love it!!!!
This camera is great. Its easy to use and not too heavy. I use it to take pictures of the jewelry I make and they enlarge well to show alot of detail. I cannot wait to sue the other features and effects!!!
