Bad Computer
I bought this computer in July and it is February and now the hard drive is gone. I called HP and first was told the warranty was expired because they had the wrong date and now they tell me that I have to take it back to the shop. I will never buy another HP product!

Purchased 7/31/12 and already hard drive crashed! Mad as "heck".

Nice Laptop
This laptop is fast! I bought this for my wife because her old laptop was getting to slow and required too much maintenance. The only early problems were at the OS level. IE explorer froze up on here while using it for MBA research. I moved her to Firefox and there were no issues.
We had no issues with WiFi.

Horrible connection
I couldnt stay connected to the wifi. Everything else about it was good but that.

Reconditioned?!?!?!
When an item is reconditioned, that needs to be stated first and foremost in a listing, not conveniently left out. Some items are okay to buy that way, but there are other purchases that I'd rather not risk having the item be anything but new. I've been burnt that way in the past before. And apparently it's happened again. My search for a computer that works the way it's supposed to continues..........:(

RECONDITIONED!!!
Just received this computer last week. Had a problem w/downloading info on this "brand new" computer - spoke w/a rep @ HP who informed me that the warranty would expire in 87 days!!! Additionally, there was a personal file in the document library that was dated 09/21/11. The computer is going back, however the warranty on the printer that I purchased at the same time as the computer continues to run (age) while I have no way to use it. Was told by QVC cust. svc. that the only way to avoid this is to return the printer to them & order another one! My DELL computer & DELL experience was FAR FAR worse - so I'm still hoping for the best from HP & QVC.

Too Big!
DOn't get me wrong, this is not a bad product, it functions very well and has some pretty cool features. Only bad thing is, this model is pretty darn huge. I need a freakin casket to carry it around in. HP, it's 2012 why the heck do you think I need this humongous laptop everywhere I go. Do not buy this one if you don't want an elephant sitting in your house.

Average Lapatop
This laptop functions but is no where near the speed demonstated on-air. I was let down when going online. I watched the laptop shown on tv and thought how great! It appeared to run smooth and fast but it is just an average unit. It did freeze when going on the internet, I could not get it to do anything. Finally went and disabled Norton and now "seems" fine. Only time will tell. Good thing there is a liberal return policy at QVC. I am certain that if quality proves to be poor they will refund or exchange without a hitch.

Nightmare if replace parts are needed.
HP makes great products. But if you have to order spare replacement parts (like a new battery) is have to get them through HP...and that is a frustrating nightmare. I have tried 4 times to get the correct battery for my laptop, and each time HP has sent me the wrong battery even though I am giving them the part number from the existing battery. My credit card has been charged, but credits have been issued each time. I still do not have a replacement battery for my laptop. I asked HP if they wanted me to send the incorrect batteries back to them ($90 each)......their response was: "no, just give them to a friend or charity as we don't want them back. I will not buy HP again. Also, when you call HP direct for customer service, you will get someone in India speaking broken english with a bad phone connection!

Bought this two weeks ago, it came two days earlier than expected. This Laptop is awesome, no problems it works fine and everything is great so far.
