Awesome!
This handy control pod is a wonderful accessory to my Bose system. I have arthritis and have a hard time with little remotes. Although it doesn't take the place of your remote its like having a third hand.
I hear the phone ring remote is on the other Side of the room but my handy little controller is with me I push it and it stops the music.
When done I push the button and its back on.
The one thing I love about this controller is its circle of sound. On the outside is a circle that you can put your finger on and it turns the music up or down its like its on a roller.
Very handy you can keep it with you or hang it up or place it on the table next to you while the Bose system is in another room facing you. It will not go through walls. Who wants that anyway. Love this little product and am so glad I made this a must for me last year. You will love the simplicity of it. Get it for someone who has a system great gift.......

Best used on refridgerator
I bought this mainly because I'm a gadget person & I thought it would come in handy if I decided to place the Wave Music System in the kitchen. It's in my bedroom & & use the remote that came w/ the Wave Music System. Another remote came w/ the disc changer as well. I now have 3 remotes. At least I don't have to worry about losing one. I have 2 backups. I love everything that is BOSE! You just can't go wrong w/any of their systems and accessories. It gets 4 stars due to it limitations, but that's what the included remote is for.

Works great in the same room
This is best when used in the same room .. will not work through walls or even doorways unless in a direct forward line and not very far even then. If you need something for another room or that you can control the entire system I recommend E223604 .. it is almost the same price (within pennies) and is amazing. I have this pod on my coffee table so I can quickly mute, change volume level or turn off the system when needed. But for controlling from the breakfast nook about 25 ft away or the bedroom which is in the room next to the system and has a doorway .. the Premium Backlit Remote is the way to go. I keep the little remote that came with the system right at the system so it is always where I can find it and use it easily also and is a handy addition to the pod if you want to be able to switch from station to station or to cd which the pod does not do.

At first I thought it would be a waste of money but after I received it I was pleasent surprised and I can say that it's worth it.

I Love the Control Pod
The mute button on the top is great, when the phone rings I just have to tap the top and mute is on! It would be nice to be able to change the channel on the radio, but the mute and volume are just what I wanted.

A Neat Bose Accessory
Glad I made this purchase. One thing I hated in the morning was fumbling in the dark to turn off the alarm on the Bose radio or trying to turn down the volume. And, I had no idea that I even had a snooze feature on my system until trying it out with the pod. So easy to operate and very convenient. Definitely 5 stars...just wish they would add one more feature - perhaps back and forward buttons on each side of the power button - used to advance or go back a track if you are using the CD Player or to scroll through the tuner if you are using the radio. Still, without these, it is a neat Bose accessory.

Great purchase
I bought the Bose Wave Music System as a birthday present for myself and I am so happy with the purchase. The sound is fantastic. I connected it to my flat screen television and it completely change the sound from the televisionn ,I am also able to enjoy listening to the radio. The Wave Control Pod comes in handy,however I did not secure it to the wall and it comes out of the case. Each time I turn the system on I wonder why it took so long to purchase it.

Convenient
I bought this to use with the wave system and multi cd changer. I use it in the same room. It is convenient to dial the volume up or down or shut the machine off without using the remote that needs the light on in a dark room as you are falling asleep but the pod can be used by easy touch. Too bad the multi cd changer is not as good as the pod since disks won't eject and too bad the wave system is not as good as the pod snce it is too bass and can't be adjusted. The pod is superior to the wave system and changer. Pod is worth the price.

Needs Rubber Feet!
I got this to easily control my Bose from bed, with the intention of putting it on the end table. Sure, I could use a different remote there, but I wanted this for the easy to find/use volume control. When I received it, I see you really have 2 options - magnetic or screw it onto something. Well I didn't want to use it as a fridge magnet (cool, but not really useful?) nor did I want to mount it to the wall using screws. So I put it on my table, tried to press the buttons or turn the volume and it slid around making it impossible to use without holding it steady with the other hand :( I had to get a rubber jar opener to place underneath it so it wouldn't slide around (am I missing something, did it come with rubber feet and I missed it?) Otherwise it's really cool. Very easy to turn off/on and adjust the volume (even mute) without worrying about hitting the wrong button on a remote. So I like it, just wish Bose, who usually think of everything, would have made this easier to use on an end table.
