I really love this bag.
I have had this bag for 6 months and really love it, except the dye from the leather rubs off on my clothes when I carry it over my shoulder. I have it in black and this is a problem. I have to be very careful not to forget otherwise I end up with a stain on my clothing. Other than that the bag is beautiful.

Shoddy work!
I purchased this bag in April 2010 and in apricot. I loved it at first and took extra special care of it. After about 2 months only it started fading! The dye started fading and it looks horrid. Not only that the leather straps were peeling and strings out and some chipping on the hardware!! For $200!~! OMG! I will never purchase another of his because of the workmanship and so much talk about good quality-what happened? and it was of course, after the 30 day return policy so I was extremely sad. Now I look at it with anger and disgust. I have been meaning to write about this since then but did not think it would do any good and still dont, except there are others with the same beef, so maybe this will alert potential buyers!!!

I am in love with this bag.
This is my first B Makowsky bag and I will be back for more. I have this bag in black. I am a big bag girl so this one is for me. It's a really roomy purse and I am able to fit everything in it that I need to take with me. Plus it was on easy pay. What! Come on home to mama baby. My favorite thing about this bag is the pocket's on the front of the bag. The leather is wonderful, the size is great and the style is to die for. If you buy this bag you will need to buy a bag organizer for it.

Awesome year round "Go To" bag!
I LOVE this bag! I'm a sliver girl, and it goes with absolutely everything, every season. The front pockets are perfect for storing often used items such as cell phone, lipstick, keys, ink pen, etc. The leather is divine. I've been carrying this bag for over a year, and it shows no wear at all. Fits well over the shoulder. The hardware adds a little bling, without being over the top. Love the security of the full zipper top for travel or shopping. Wish it came in more colors for spring and summer! I'd be back for another!

Not for me
This bag was my first and last B. Makowsky purchase. I bought it in the pewter and fell in love with it, I also recieved a lot of compliments; however, the quality of the bag is for the birds. After a few months the leather on the straps started peeling off and the coloring started rubbing off on the back and on the front pockets. After spending so much on a bag, I was very disappointed at how it turned out after only a few months. I have seen a lot of B. Makowsky bags that I like, but I just don't want to chance it again....what a waste of money.

Fabulous! The Pewter even sparkles in the sun
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this purse! When I walked outside with it on a sunny day something sparkly flashed in the corner of my eye- when I looked to see what it was I realized it was my purse- it actually sparkles in the sun! I have had many silver/pewter/metallic purses from other name brands- and none have sparkled like this purse!!! I used to be a die hard Dooney and Bourke and Coach girl- but this purse has me convinced that I need to Welcome B Makowski to my purse collection!!!!

My FAVORITE bag!
LOVE this bag! My favorite part is the two pockets in the front. Bruce, PLEASE make this bag in summer colors. The pockets are the selling part for me. Also for the ladies who commented that there's no structure ... yes, true ... but you need to buy the Microfiber Bag Organizer by Lori Grenier (H1959). I got these and you can move them from bag to bag and it totally organizes everything. Now I don't have to worry about the no structure thing cause I just put structure into the bag. P.S. The height is perfect too. Anything under 10 inches doesn't hold what I need it to hold when I put my eyeglasses and makeup bag in it.

Yes but no....
This is a really nice bag however I am sending it back. It is made well no doubt but before I purchased it I had read that when u set the bag down it turns into a pile of leather. The bag has no structure to it. Going to dinner when I would place the bag on the table beside me it just goes into a lump. It is a little heavy too guess it's the hardware. I did love the style and color (honey mustard tone) but after much thought I'm sending it back.

Great Bag!
Bought this in the taupe color for spring. I have bought several of BMacs bags before and found this one to be one of the better ones! I have two cross body bags and one of the hobo styles and I am tough on my handbags! Slouchy it is but the construction feels much stronger. The straps are a bit stiff but I like these better than the "unconstructed" types. Much room in this bag too. Leather is not so flimsy as one of the others I have purchased. Its not stiff but feels "beefier" and still luxurious. I may just come back for a second color in this one! Love it so far!!
