like it lots, but...
it's a terrific vest, I particularly love that it's a crew neck, which really keeps you warm and toasty. two things I would add, to make it perfect, would be pockets and a two-way zipper, which would make it a 10-star vest, at least in my humble opinion!

Quality Gift for My Daughter
I own several Aran Craft sweaters and I wear them often in our Montana weather. I especially love the coat length sweater that I often wear as a coat. I gave this vest, in blue, along with a Louis Dell'Oleo animal print shirt to my daughter for her birthday. She is a busy mom and professional woman and she was very pleased with her gift. This vest is dressy enough to wear to the office with a crisp white shirt, or you can wear it with jeans. Excellent soft Irish wool that you will not find in most brick and mortar stores.

Exquisite!
I ordered the black because I wanted a classic color that goes with everything. It is a high quality vest, warm and it wears well. It is also soft and not scratchy. I find this to be true with all Aran Craft items I ordered, though. I ordered my regular size, M, and it is the fit I was hoping for. If you want a vest that sits closer to your body, size down. I like mine roomy, therefore I ordered my regular size.
The vest looks great with blouses and also worn over a light sweater. I love the fact that it comes with a zipper and not with buttons. The zipper makes the vest look more elegant than buttons, in my opinion. Lack of pockets is also a plus with this particular design. I am already considering buying the red one, too, for a pop of color when needed.

I already have 5 sweaters and 2 vests that I love and keep wearing at all times during fall, winter and early spring. They are high quality and I will be enjoying wearing them for many,many years. Very Nice
I ordered this for my Mother and she loved the quality. She is very petite so I orded a XS and it fit all right-Wish they made it in petite.

Loved it, but sent it back
I read the reviews and sized down (to an XS) as appropriate, but this vest was huge on me! Unfortunately this vest was not flattering on me and was shapeless, so back it went. I wish it was available in smaller sizes.

Great Vest
I bought this in the natural. Very ample sizing on this one. It is the coziest piece ever. Got compliments on it. Looks super with jeans for a casual look. Very substantial piece that will last for years. Good warmth without overheating. Nice vest.

GREAT VEST
I ORDERED THE RED ONE AND IT IS STUNNING. IT IS ROMMY ENOUGH THAT YOU CAN PUT ALMOST UNDER IT. YOU CAN DRESS IT UP WITH A PAIR OF DRESS SLACKS OR WITH A PAIR OF JEANS AND IT LOOKS GREAT. I AM WAITING TO SEE WHAT THEY WILL BRING FOR ST PATRICKS DAY. KEEP ON

Simple, classy, quality
Order a size down (as with most of the irish woolen products). This vest is beautiful and a perfect weight for layering in the fall and winter (and summer up north). Love it!

Fantastic Vest
Purchased this vest in Natural last year. It has been very cold here in North Carolina this winter and this vest has been part of my daily wardrobe. At first I thought it might be a little large but not any more. I have layered it over everything. It keep you warm without the weight. Absolutely love it. The Merino wool from Ireland is the only wool I can wear and have a number of sweaters and shawls. Thank you QVC.

Great Vest
Ordered this in natural and absolutely love it. I find myself grabbing this to wear more that my coat. It keeps you toasty warm, its very comfortable and looks great with just about everything. I wear it to games and always have people asking me where I got it. If you get this vest you will not regret it. Very stylish, goes anywhere and the fit is not to tight or to loose. Sizes are true.

WELL MADE
I HAD THIS ON MY QVC WISH LIST AND THIS IS ONE OF THE ITEMS I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND. I LOVE VESTS AND SO WANTED ONE OF THESE IRISH ONES. I ALSO HAD THE SWEATERS ON MY LIST HOWEVER SWEATERS CAN BE SO HOT SO I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED VESTS AND THIS LOOKS SO NICE. SO GLAD I GOT THIS. IM A LITTLE ON THE PETITE SIZE AND A 36D BUST SO THIS STILL RUNS SLIGHTLY BIG IN XS. I DO LIKE THE WAY IT FITS!

Perfect Vest
I love the Irish sweaters but are too heavy for daily wear - so this vest is perfect for jeans or dress. I usually wear a small but ordered extra-small and it fits perfect. Beautiful and soft. Cannot say enough good things about this vest. I hope John will bring another vest to us on his 2011 St. Pat''s Day visit to Q (I would love pockets).
