Calista Tools Embellish Texturizing Definer with ProElement
Disappointed. This product does not work as shown on the TV demonstration.
Plus, it is very sticky. I do not recommend.
It does wonders
I have short thinning hair and I spent a lot of time using the curling iron, etc. trying to cover up the thin areas and get volume. Now, I just use a tiny (pea size) drop and slap my hands together and puff through my hair. Finish off with hair spray and I just saved a whole lot of time. People are complimenting my new hairdo and I just tell them it's all in the product!!!
Your hair will never be the same!
This is a totally innovative hair product. It is great for the college student who rolls out of bed and has no time to get ready for class. I can't believe it actually works as seen on the infomercial.
I have been very disappointed in this product. Will be throwing it away and never ordering it again. Way over rated on TV. I feel as if I threw away $30.
In the learning process
This product is what I expected, but I am still in the learning process on the technique I need to use to make it work properly.
I ordered this product and do not like it at all, it makes your hair so sticky. Will not buy it again or recommend it.
This stuff was sticky and oily on my hair and did nothing for the volumizing as described on air. The fibers, when you clap hands together, flew everywhere. Just messy.
Keeps Hair In Place
Fabulous product I have already gone through one and ordered another. I just sweep it thru my short hair and lift the crown with upward motion. I get compliments every day!
Too Much Fragrance
This product delivers as promised with regard to volumizing and styling. This review is a general outcry for unscented products. I just wish that manufacturers of beauty products did not feel the need to add fragrances to products. By the time you put on tropical deodorant, fruity hairspray, cologne and coconut hand lotion its a wonder people can stand next to you in line or church! This particular product has a vanilla fragrance, and I don't appreciate smelling like a cupcake. Please pass my concerns along to manufacturers.
Not for me
I don't know how they were able to promote this and use it on the air. I followed the directions to the letter. Leaves your hands/fingers SO sticky. Can't touch anything else until you wash your hands. Didn't do anything special on my hair. Just use a regular styling serum. Also, the dispenser needs to be improved - - at least the one I received, dispenses too much or too little. I didn't return it because it was not worth spending more money on the return shipping,
I love this stuff! I have very fine, medium length hair and just a tiny bit works wonders. I use maybe the size of a half a teardrop and add a tiny dab if I need more. Clap your hands to activate. But clap above your head so the strands land on your head and not on the floor. Start at roots but not your scalp and run it through your hair. Any leftover on your hands, pat on the ends to prevent static. Works great on static!
Best Styling Product I have ever used.
I tried it from a friend and from the first time, I was hooked. I have short thin hair and it makes my hair look thick, full, and so easy to style. It even looks good after a night's sleep. I can reapply a small amount the second, third, or maybe the fourth day after shampooing and it continues to look good. I have recommended it to friends and family. I will have to say that it works better on short hair. Maybe it is because we don't know how to apply the product on long hair. Please do not stop carrying this product. Thanks QVC
