Quality is gone!
I signed up for auto-delivery of this mascara quite a while back--more than a year ago. I loved it so much I signed my daughter up, too. But for the last few months, the product has arrived all dried up--as if the tube had been open for months. And there seems to be so little product in the tube that it hardly lasts for two weeks--not even close to the month and a half it's supposed to last. Also, it's not giving me the volume it once did. And it doesn't really last through the day--after a few hours, I look like I'm hardly wearing mascara at all. From the recent reviews, I can see I'm not the only person experiencing this. I just bought a $5 tube of mascara at the drug store that gave me more volume and length than the current formula of Tarte now does. And I'm paying how much for Tarte? Plus delivery? I don't think so! This mascara used to be something special, but no more. Cancelling auto delivery.

I was excited to get this mascara based on all the hype that this mascara was "the bomb". I like that it holds up well with exercise etc even though its not waterproof and comes off easily when you want it to. I just ran my first 5k over the weekend (yay!) and it did not come off while sweating and wearing sunglasses. . However, I think it looks kind of obvious that I have mascara on and it's not the believable natural effect I was hoping for. Kind of looks thick on my lashes. It's ok but not worth the price to me for what it does. I'm not returning it just cause I don't dislike it enough to have to go through the hassle of sending it back. My search for the "bomb" mascara continues....

Not So Great
This product seems to dry out very fast. Seriously, I have gone through three tubes since November, 2012. It clumps easily and is way too thick. Please work on a new formula.

Formula Definitely Changed
I agree with the others. My first few purchases on this item made my lashes look fantastic - now it looks and feels like I'm wearing any other regular mascara. Wow factor has been lost. Please bring back the old formula!

Disappointed Unfortunately
I sadly have to agree with the review titled, "What happened To the Formula". It was the only mascara Ive been using for the past 3 purchases. I have even gifted them because I was so impressed with the performance and always got so many compliments on my eyes. But what happened? My lashes used to almost touch my eyebrows and I dont have much of eyelashes. Now, it just begins to clump on the 2nd coat and does NOT enlongate my lashes anymore. I guess I now have to try a new brand. Sorry Tarte..If the formula goes back to awesome..I will purchase this item again.

BEST mascara EVER!
This is now the ONLY mascara I will use! I love the way it smoothly goes on without clumping and I love the brush. So easy to apply and fool proof!! Silky smooth, stays on all day, comes off with regular washing, and makes my 60 year old lashes look young and full again. The secret is two or three (or however many you like......) light coats. Perfect color too. Truly you won't be sorry. Try it and you will be hooked on this fabulous find! Perfect for everyone.

Need quality control!
Tarte Mascara needs quality control. The first time I used it it was perfect. Lately the quality is uneven. Sometimes it's great...sometimes it's dried out....sometimes the brand new tube is nearly empty. Lately, it's started to make my eyes burn. You never know what will arrive in the mail. I think I will be changing brands.

Who Changed the Formula???
The first time I bought this mascara I fell in love with it. Two swipes and my lashes were long and beautiful. Same result the second time I purchased. Third time...wha' happened? The product in its current formula is no better than the corner drugstore brand mascara. It is; however, more expensive. I will not waste my money again on this mascara. Too bad, I really liked it!

Use to be best purchase, what Happen??
I have gotten this product before, many times..Loved it. The last 2 shipments, one in a special value and one I ordered 2 of them in a pair by themselves, all dried out. Tried one tube, then the other, worse. Sent it back.
Love this mascara, but need the quality that I was use to. Please get it back the same way. Marleen, help! I will not reorder until you say it's right again.

Very disappointing
I really wanted to love this mascara! I was so disappointed, it goes on glumpy, and didn't give hardly any length to my lashes at all! After a few short hours of wearing it, I would look in the mirrror and find black smudges under my eyes...waste of time and money! Sadly, I wouldn't have even gave it one star:(

Did Not Like
I love tarte,but this mascara is not good for me. Dos not go on well at all. Very globby,goes on way to thick, and you can not correct it.

CLUMPS AND FLAKES
This mascara does not go on smoothly, it is clumpy, and needs to be separated with a comb or brush to distribute the product more evenly. Shortly after it dries, it flakes off onto your face, and into your eyes. Oh the hype from the QVC hosts......I fell for it yet again.
