Did Not Like
The eye cream seems ok but the other products made my face oily. Returned.

Not good for sensitive skin
I purchased this kit out of desperation to help with dryness, sagging and discoloration.
Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of 2x a day absolutely no changes in my skin except for
one - bumps and itching! I am beginning to think at 65 and after 30 years of
consistently trying everything on the market (drug stores, department stores and
all shopping brands offered on TV) that there is nothing out there and will probably just give up and quit giving my money away.
Probably great for young women (reason for 2 stars) - Tired of getting my hopes up
and then being disappointed time after time. Sorry! Wish this could have worked.

Highly effective skin line
I actually purchased samples of Algenist from a local mall here in North Tx, and after using for a few weeks loved the outcome it had on my skin. I watched many presentations but still wanted to try before buying, it will definitely be incorporated in my skincare products that I use.

Disappointed
Used this for over a month, saw no improvement at all. Had ordered the large size of the serum but sent it back unopened. Peter Thomas Roth's trial kit is worth the price. Used it for 3 weeks and already the improvement is noticable.

BEST SKIN PRODUCTS EVER!
I swore I wasn't going to buy any more skin care products until I had used the thirty some-odd serums, balms and moisturizers in my beauty arsenal. However, I was just dying to try the Algenist series and I received this on three easy pays, so how could I not buy this kit?
WOW - I am so glad I did! I'm 58 years old and I have tried virtually hundreds of products looking for my Holy Grail regimen - I have just found it! The eye balm is to die for, as is the serum and moisturizer. I can always tell the next morning if I neglected to apply these products before bed, as my skin isn't smooth as glass. Using the Algenist products in conjunction with the LightStim has virtually taken ten years off my face.
I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas and I was a swimmer all my life. While not really a sun worshiper, the two go hand in hand. I have natural light blonde hair, but dark eyes and a light olive complexion. I never got sunburned, but being in the sun all those years with no sunscreen has taken its toll on my face. The Algenist series has practically erased all of my fine lines beneath my eyes and the vertical lines above my lips.
I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants significant improvement of aging skin.
Now, if someone could invent something to help the sagging!

IT REALLY, REALLY WORKS
IT WORKS! IT WORKS! IT REALLY WORKS. Finally a product that does what it says it will do. My eyes have lost that sunken in the skull look, my jowls and puppet lines are hardly notiicable I am 68 and have people say I look in early fifties now. Try it you'll like it.

Poor product
So no difference in skin. Would not recommend to anyone!!! Would give no stars if possible.

This really works
I have really noticed an improvement especially in the eye area. I am 49 and I have tried almost every product that QVC has sold. This is worth a try and the discovery kit is good sized trial products - just remember that you do not need a lot of product and this should last about 6 weeks. Great product!!

Best Skin Care Line I Have Ever Used!
I have used almost all skin care lines on the market from Beauty Salons to pricey designer products! I am in love with this skin care regime! My skin has never felt better or looked more youthful! I will be 50 in May and people tell me I do not look a day over 40! I have really noticed results in the crows feet! When I smile, I barely notice them! Will never turn back! Serum and eye cream is awesome!

No Improvement
I ordered this product thinking it would help firm up a few wrinkles that recently popped up. I am blessed with pretty good skin and wanted to try this product line. Well, sad to say it didn't work for me so I returned. I didn't care for the scent of the product either, sort of a sulfur scent. I got a few breakouts as well on my forehead. Giving two stars as I think they supply enough of the product in the kit. I think I am going to try out the philosophy line.

Didn't make much of a difference
I am 46 and want to work on fine lines, but I didn't see any difference than the products I use through Avon. I pick the best from Avon, but I feel that either one works the same, so why spend any more money than necessary. Not a bad product, just not anything extra special.
On a separate note, I love QVC and the fact that I can try and return if necessary. Also, I like that I find items that I don't see in stores. And most items work out well.

Unexpected Results
I finally caved in and tried this after using a sample jar of the cream I got in the beauty test tube. I started using it about 3-4 times a week, continuing to use it alongside my other products. I didn't think it was doing much of anything because it doesn't cause any kind of sensation on the skin or have a strong smell. Continued to use it for about three weeks. I caught a glimpse of my skin unexpectedly one day and was really surprised at how much firmer and hydrated it looked. The kicker was, though, one day I was cleansing my face and just happened to realize that two large brown patches on either side of my face had faded considerably. I've tried many things that claim to brighten the skin and they wouldn't budge. I'd grown resigned to living with them, until it dawned on me one day that they were considerably less noticeable. I also think the eye cream is perhaps the best hydrating cream I have used, noticeably reducing fine lines and dark circles. Believe me, I've tried them all. I actually can't wait to put this on in the morning. I just ordered the super size of the serum and will order the other products as they are offered on easy pay. I like the fact that this product didn't start out to be a beauty product, but was accidentally discovered in the scientific realm. Sometimes it pays to think outside of the box. I'd recommend giving this a try, and use it faithfully for about three weeks before deciding if this works for you.
