Susan Graver Essentials Lustra Knit Regular Skinny Pants
Nice But Not Skinny
I like the fit and the texture of these pants, but they don't strike me as being skinny pants. They run a bit on the big side, so if you like a snug fit, you should go down a size.

With a clingy fabric I would typically order up a size so as to not be showing every ripple. After reading the reviews, and the problems with extra length in the crotch, I decided to stay with my normal size. This worked out great. They are not a tight skinny pant by any means. I was looking for dressier pants that didn't have a baggy pajama feel to them. These fit the bill. I can dress these up for a special affair, or wear them with a nice sweater for the holidays. Would love to see them in more colors, especially black and navy. Would also like to see some tops and/or jackets to match.
rise way too long
The rise in the regular is way too long. I am 5'7" with a 30 inch inseam. in order to have it be in the the right place, I have to pull the pants up about four inches above my waist. if I wear them at my waist the rise is too long and the pants length is too long. I thought I might try petite to get a better rise fit but with a 27 inch inseam, they would be way too short. love the pants fabric and they do look professional and smart for work.. may have to roll the waist band to be able to wear them at my waist. if this doesn't work, I will be so disappointed as it is so hard to find pants that are work appropriate, also, I wore these with an outside temperature of 101 yesterday and they were not too hot. certainly fine for air conditioned buildings.
I bought these pants in the xs...and they fit well. The waist band was in the right spot. However, I got the regular, 30" length, and to me they longer than the 30". They will have to be hemmed. They are very comfortable on. I carry my weight in the lower part of my body...and these made my legs look much slimmer than they are.
Fit Fit Fit
Seriously, I wore these today and ordered another pair. They were so comfortable.
Wear an xs, am about a sz. 6.
Length is perfect, fit is perfect, and I look and feel slimmer in these pants!
For the cooler months more Ponte knit .Looks fresher more up to date.
I DO look skinny (and I'm not) !
Love these pants ! Polished & contemporary. PLEASE bring these to us in navy, Susan.
I just received two pairs of these pants today. I purchased the brown and the black. They fit well and are nice pants, but I haven't decided if I like the material or not which is the reason for only 4 stars. It is a little heavy and I don't care for the ribbing. I like the smoother material like liquid knit much better. These pants will be nice for the fall and winter, but much too hot for the spring and summer.
More black and winter colors please
This is my first Susan Graver purchase and I love this fabric! More Black PLEASE! Looks like all black sold out!! Would love to have these in charcoal gray, deep navy, AND MORE BLACK.
Love, love love
I originally ordered the pants in black to try them. Loved the feel and fit. Going to order in brown now and would love Susan to come out with a deep navy in this product.
Agree Strange Fit
I love the material - the weight, how they hang on the body but the length is very long - I'm 5'6" (will have to wear heels) and the crotch is too long. I like the material so much I think I'll alter them.
I wear a M (8-10) I am 5'6' and the pant is too long. The crotch is long so I have to pull them up. When I pull them up the lenght is fine but I don't like to wear pants under my bra.
Did not send them back because it's too expensive.
The fabric is very nice feeling on the body and it's easy to care for.
Please adjust the crotch and the lenght. Another idea is to make two lenghts for average and two lenghts for petite, ect. Not every one carries their weight in the same places although they my wear the same size and that affects the lenght.
