About Louis Dell'Olio

Louis Dell'Olio never had any doubt about what his life's work would be. After three years at Parsons School of Design – during which he won a number of awards including the prestigious Norman Norell scholarship – Dell'Olio was hired to be Dominic Rompollo's assistant at the house of Teal Traina. It was there that Dell'Olio had his first opportunity to design sportswear.

Dell'Olio accepted a new position with Originala in 1971 as the designer for Giorgini, the company's new couture sportswear division. After two years, Donna Karan, his classmate at Parson's, asked him to join her at Anne Klein.

During the ten years they designed together, Karan and Dell'Olio won three COTY Awards and were inducted into the COTY Hall of Fame in 1984. Dell'Olio's name soon became identified with elegant, wearable clothes that were fashionable season after season, yet always looked modern. He established a reputation for designing clothes that made women look and feel beautiful, and were modern in their timelessness, wearable in terms of fit and comfort, and functional in order to accommodate today's busy lifestyles.

Linea by Louis Dell'Olio is a brilliant collection of separates in dramatic textures and colors, created especially for QVC by this noted designer.

Triple steal! One easily could pay more for any one piece -- the beautiful silk scarf, the silk tank or the sheer silk blouse -- than the price for this set. The fabric is airy (perfect for travel!) and these pieces are beautifully made. I got the deep purple print to coordinate with my Linea purple boho skirt. (The fit is true to size.) Now that I have the set, I visualize these pieces with many other things in my wardrobe, together and as separates for 4-season wear. This is something very special for a steal of a deal! Thanks, Louis and QVC for a wonderful bargain! 01-26-12
What a Buy!!!! I bought this silk set in Black in my normal Linea size of Medium. Where has this been?!!! This is an absolutely beautiful paisley and in silk yet! All three pieces are clear winners: the paisley shirt, the black silk tank, and the generous silk paisley scarf. Fit is perfect and the quality of the fabrics and the construction are impeccable, as is the case with all the Linea I own. Grab this if it is still available in your size. 01-25-12
What a Find!! A 3 piece set in SILK for $35 and change!! The generously sized scarf alone would be worth the price!! The paisley print scarf is not garish and can go with numerous solid tops in my wardrobe or worn with the tank top of this set. The paisley big shirt is not oversized to look like you chose the wrong size to wear. It could be used as a beach coverup. The tank top fit me in my regular size of Small without it being taut through the bustline. Ladies go by the 'click here' chest measurements on the tank to determine your correct size for this set. The purple set DOES GO with the purple boho skirt (its tonal). I would probably wear it with the black boho as its too much purple for me, IMO on the top and bottom. A few presses with a warm steam iron removed the package wrinkles from the silk when done on the reverse of the fabric. A fantastic buy and thanks again Louis for creating great clothing. 01-18-12
