This is a very good duo, the SPF alone is around $50 so the person who wrote they wanted to purchase the serum alone, with this kit you are receiving the SPF lotion for free the serum is $88 alone at the stores.
The continued use of the brightening serum along with SPF for day is key, so this is a perfect pairing and great value too.

worst along with Roths and other high priced item
I have purchased every discovery kit of strivectin products including the get even brightening serum and spf age protect duo. this product has done nothing for my skin except make it feel drier and not moist, the creams are fatty and pill and roll and even after dermabrasiion are not absorbed by my skin. the products are super expensive and it is too late for the other kits but I am definitely returning this duo.I am disappointed because it might be helping someone elses skin but certainly not mine.

Actually works!
Most skincare products don't live up to expectations, but the brightening serum really does (for me, at least). I have noticed a marked reduction in spots on my face from old acne, and don't have to wear as much concealer any more. I gave it 4 stars just because I would prefer buying it alone (without the sun protection product). I have another product that I prefer for that, and it would make it a lot more affordable.

Has made a remarkable difference
I have been using this ever since it first aired on QVC. I now only have to wear a tinted moisturizer instead of concealer and foundation. I has made such a difference, I have even recommended it to my mother, who I inherited my melasma from. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because its not totally gone, but markedly improved.
