What is it: A thickening mousse that offers all the benefits of Full Thickening Cream, but in a lighter formula. It's designed to provide each hair strand the texture it needs to look naturally full with moveable body.

Who is it for: Anyone with very thin, fine hair looking for extra volume, body, and bounce that looks and feels natural. Ideal for baby-fine hair, thinning hair, or curly hair.

Why is it different: The extremely lightweight formula creates a flexible micropattern of thickening points that are evenly distributed on each hair fiber to mimic the look and feel of fuller, thicker hair, without making it stiff or brittle. Great as an alternative to Full Thickening Cream. Both products should not be used at the same time.

How do I use it: For short hair, use a golfball-sized amount of mousse. For medium to long hair, use an egg-sized amount. Usage amount can vary depending on hair type or thickness. Use more or less as needed.

Start with clean, damp, detangled hair. Shake well, turn can upside down and dispense mousse into your palms. Rub together and distribute throughout your hair from roots to ends. Comb through and style. For best results, blow dry hair. Wavy or curly hair and short or spiky hair types might enjoy leaving hair to air dry with thickening mousse for a more relaxed style with a tousled, textured look, and slight hold and definition. For best results, shampoo and condition hair to wash out mousse before reapplying and restyling hair. It is not recommended to layer more mousse on top of already styled hair.

Disappointing! After reading several positive reviews of this mousse, I took the plunge & ordered it. My hair is fine & thin. This product initially increased the volume a bit, but it didn't hold. Now it doesn't seem effective, despite my experimenting with different amounts of the product. I was so hoping that it would work- very disappointing (& expensive)! 02-21-13

Best Mousse! Since wearing shorter hair the past year, I started to use mousse on occasion, followed by style cream or hair glue and then hair spray (hair felt stiff and sticky). I was skeptical about this mousse adding as much volume as it says it does. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of volume added to my hair. I was also able to do away with the hair glue to get that piecey look; this mousse does both. Now I can just add a little hair spray and I'm good to go. It lasts all day. I made the mistake of using too much the first time (didn't take the time to read the directions), and that did leave some residue on my hair. Now I know that a little goes a long way, and hair feels great! Glad I can buy just one product for my hair styling instead of two. 02-21-13

thickened my hair I got a sample size can of this product in the latest test tube. My hair is thin and fine and short to begin with. Since I have so little hair, I just used a dime-sized squirt. It made my hair look thick and full. A guy actually told me that he loved my haircut - and I've had the same haircut forever. It just looked better with this product in it. I took off one star because the delivery mechanism jammed after about ten uses and there is probably still half a can left that I can't use. I already ordered a full size can (not cheap at $26) and if that one jams it will go straight back to QVC. 11-10-12

A Believer! I was initially quite skeptical when it came to this product primarily due to the cost of the product. I am used to paying drug store prices for my mousse. My hair is short so I typically apply mousse after washing my hair to freshly towel dried hair. This product actually did make my hair feel thicker and appears to give it more volume. Due to the weight of my hair it tends to fall flat as the day wears on but this mousse helps it look good. I use it in addition to some other hair styling product and the end result is quite satisfactory. Expensive but worth it. 11-03-12

Oki, but results not consistent Was on auto-delivery of this for a while. Stopped because after a while it just wasn't working any more. Not sure why this was, but that was my experience. When it did work, it was good; however, too costly for an unreliable product. Also, the shipping cost is too high for this product--it hardly weighs anything at all! I have pretty good hair on its own, at times, this actually seemed to make it bad. There are other mousses that are at least as effective as this one & they cost a lot less & don't have to be shipped! 07-30-12

The best Mousse I have very thinning hair and have bought hair pieces and wigs and everything to help make it look like I have thick hair........... Nothing has worked as well as this mousse........Yes it makes your hair feel dirty but I wash it daily anyway so I'm a happy camper .Thank you for bringing this product to the public..... Lots of volume.... Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse does a fabulous job creating volume and makes hair appear thicker. Though, it does leave a feel of a "coating" on your hair and making it feel somewhat dirty. Nonetheless, the results of lots of volume overrides this one downside. 06-22-12
