I love Calista Hot Rollers and missed them greatly when I had to live overseas for 7mos. I wish she made them for European wattage. I also have fine hair so have never been able to get a set to hold with a curling iron. I can use them with a setting lotion, keep them in my hair longer without fear of burning the hair and get a set which lasts usually all day. They are superior to regular hot rollers. 4 extra is pricey at $25 but went ahead and purchased as I needed 4 more.

These rollers are great, and I don't understand how anyone could say they don't work, or what they would have to do to make them fail... Before these Calista rollers, I never used hot rollers in my life that ever worked. I bought one set of cheap ones from the drug store and after many tries to get them to work, I just threw the whole set away, wasting $40 and never went near rollers again until these ones. The Calista Tools rollers changed my life when it came to my hair. It didnt take me an hour of dedicated time to use a curling iron on my very thick hair anymore (too many sections!) However, this refill idea is really flawed. The price on this does not make any sense. to get 12 rollers like you did in the original set, you would pay $75 plus shipping and tax, when these dark pink rollers came as part of a set including the base for $100. Major buyer's remorse... I think everyone would agree that it should be something like $40 to get 12 more rollers and clips since they would only work if you bought the set with the base anyway. I mean... it could be worse, like the sets of 3 for the turquoise rollers at the same $25, but really, it's better to just buy a whole extra set of rollers with the base. I don't have the pretty turquoise set (shame because that is my favorite color) but there are other retailers that still sell the set with these pink rollers, and they have coupons or just lower prices than the normal $100. I wholeheartedly agree and was pleasantly surprised upon reading the comment by the lady who mentioned amazon. That was kind of a shock.

I bought the curling iron first and it would not hold my hair which is very fine. I then saw that the rollers were available so I purchased them. They also would not hold or stay in my hair. I had to send both back. I think when the products are being shown it should be mentioned that if a person has very fine hair it will not work for them.

I love these curlers, but like everyone else, I refuse to pay $25.00 for only four rollers. Here's what I did. I went to amazon and bought the entire set including base, for $25.99. Free shipping with Prime. Now I have 24 rollers, plus a backup base, just in case. Or...I'll plug them both in and use them all at once.

I purchased the Calista Hot rollers small size and I find that the small pink roller work best for my hair, but there are not enough of these rollers for my whole head. I decided to order extra rollers and was very disappointed that you only get 4 rollers for a whooping $25.00! When you are paying almost $100.00 for the roller set to begin with, I would think you would at least get 6 rollers when ordering extra ones. I am having to roll only half of my hair, leave them in for 4 or 5 minutes, take them out, put them back on the stand to get hot again, and then roll the other half of my hair. In the long run , this is not saving me any time in the morning at all.
You really need to rethink having only 4 extra rollers for this price of $25.00. It is over priced.

I ordered the pink rollers to use with my Calista set. I have long hair but the pink rollers does a better job then the larger rollers. I need two more pink rollers to fill the set but I think getting only 4 rollers for this price is a bit steep so I will manage with what I have for the time being. I gave 4 stars because of the price for only 4 rollers w/clips.

I love my Calista hot hair rollers, but I have one of the larger purple rollers that is defective. The dot to show it is hot came off and now the purple outer layer has separated from the heating unit. I bought these in late November (6 months ago), it seems that the quality control may need some work.

I absolutely LOVE this product. I own the short set - 6 pink and 6 purple. Now that I have shortened my hairstyle, I need more of the pink rollers. Problem is the replacement size is 4!! You really need to make it 6 especially for the price. I want to give a 5 star review but feel that the greed of the vendor has to be addressed. The set was quite expensive and the initial purchase should be taken into consideration. Please up the quantity to 6!
Rated 4 out of 5 by annlib These should be called small (not short.)
Calista's short hot roller set comes with 12 curlers. Since all the curlers are short, the two sizes need to be distinguished by calling one medium and the other small. Color won't guide you since my set has gray small curlers and these small refills are the same size in dark pink.
I like these rollers because they are incredibly lightweight and heat up very quickly. The clips hold them in but sometimes leave creases in my fine medium length hair. I much prefer using U-shaped metal clips from an older set of rollers. I recommend paying attention to the time they heat up. They can get very hot.
I have no problem with receiving 4 instead of 6 rollers. It's enough, and I'm just happy that someone had them.

I've used hot rollers for decades. This is a nice set and doesn't leave you looking like Shirley Temple with a tight uncontrollable curl. I ordered extra rollers long and short and find it ridiculous that they only come in sets of 4 rather than 6 for a hefty price of $25 plus shipping. The company needs to be more consumer friendly for the prices they charge. I'm hoping the heating element holds out for years to come.
Rated 4 out of 5 by fotofix NEED MORE ROLLERS!!
I have the long hair set and had bought one set of the medium rollers for the crown of my hair. I've just cut my hair short and need to get a set of short rollers. Where are they ?? And I agree that for $25 we should get a set of 6. QVC, if you're going to sell a device, you should sell the refills, accessories, etc for said device!

I got a set of these for Christmas but very disappointed that I did not get enough rollers. I see on here that they are $25.00 for 4. That really is expensive. I think I will be returning the whole set.
