What is it: A starter kit for dry, dehydrated hair.

Who is it for: Ideal for dry, dehydrated hair.

Why is it different: This kit helps dyed, dried, or fried hair come alive. It infuses dry, moisture-stripped hair with essential hydration. Hair looks healthy and glossy. It's formulated with blue agave nectar and Ojon elixir, a 500-year-old beauty secret.

How do I use it: Apply Restorative Hair Treatment directly onto dry hair. Scoop 1 to 1-1/2 teaspoons into palm of hand. Warm by rubbing between hands until it transforms into an oil. Distribute evenly throughout hair and scalp. Repeat until hair is fully saturated. Comb through and allow to penetrate for 20 minutes before rinsing and shampooing. For very damaged hair, apply gentle heat from a hair dryer for five minutes and/or leave treatment on overnight. Use weekly.

Apply Hydrating Shampoo to wet hair and massage into scalp and hair. Rinse.

Massage Hydrating Conditioner into hair. Rinse.

Apply Hydrating Smoothing Cream evenly through damp hair. Blow dry and style as desired.

Give it a chance! There are some angry OJON users out there but I am a newbie so I don't have much to complain about concerning the new formulations. This might not be like the original "Ultra" formula but it is very nice. I almost like it as much as the Damage Reverse set. I think the product that is worth trying out is the Dry Recovery Smoothing cream that is included in the kit. I got a tube of it and while I am not too big on styling creams this one was very impressive and worth a try! It does not weigh hair down, it makes it soft and keeps natural wave/curl and has a bit of hold. Definitely going to keep that around! The only thing I wish is that instead of the lemony smell of the Dry Recovery line they could have used the Revitalizing Mist scent (orange mist). That smell is divine and would be sooo nice to have in a set. The scent is the only reason I did not give this kit 5 stars... 05-07-13
